It's not brawl that's "deboosting" it's nintendo in general.
Basically a bunch of "teh h4rdcore" gamers taking out their anger at
nintendo daring to rise out of the basement of the console sales by
making some casual games (Wii Fit being the one that draws the most
ire) in the only way they know how, voting for h4rdcore jrpg sony
characters like squall in internet polls. Not really. Nintendo fans don't have a reason to come to this site anymore because no one gives a **** about Wii Music or Samba De Amigo, the next big Nintendo hits. --- Good Times, Great Memories |

Nathan Drake has virtually no board vote. And he's against one of the biggest, if not the biggest front-loaded board vote character in CATS, plus another extremely popular board vote in Yoshi, and FF love for Squall. Nathan Drake is not this pathetic. I refuse to believe it. He will continue to climb towards CATS throughout the day. | Brawl was all about the hype and the roster. Now that it is out, there's no excitement. Not only that, but Nintendo has been taking a collossal **** on its fans for the last year. Now I'm kicking myself for not taking Squall out of this division. |

15 people fell off the Top 50 today. Maluum_Zhifan, lancealots_son,
Denzokuken, Billy_Gates, Cyrus_85, OriginalChuckle, funkyg50,
coldagg3r2, erindal, Shadow_L, Cruizer3000, onelegbob, Falcon120,
Big13oss and jtg144 did not have Sora > Fox as yesterday's winners. 4 people scored half points and survived. DeepThoatFox, zackwolf22, acshen and Justin_Crossing also did not have Sora > Fox as yesterday's winners. --- What do you think of the planetarium? for not taking Squall out of this division. Brawl lived up to its hype. It's a great game. It makes little to no sense that once a game came out that its characters would all of a sudden start doing worse. Brawl is still high up on the faqs. It sold/sells like crazy. There's been an anti-nintendo bias here ever since Nintendo started coming back. Wow, I didn't expect Squall to kick Yoshi's ass so bad. Also this is making me pretty confident Squall > Sora is gonna
happen. I seriously contemplated it for while, I think at one point I
actually made the change. Too bad I couldn't rationalize it happening

Don't forget that Yoshi got creamed by Mega Man last year, and Squall
is about as formidable as Mega Man nowadays, if not moreso (augh). With
CATS having a lot of percentage to give up, both Squall and Yoshi are
going to come out of this looking fairly good. Particularly Squall if
he can get up to and stay in the mid 40s. It's a real shame he's wasted
against Cloud. Sora/Yoshi next round is going to be pretty interesting. Sora held up very well against Squall with Aerith in the poll but collapsed the next round while Squall fought with Sonic. It looks like Yoshi will almost certainly need SFF help to win, while avoiding being hurt too much by Fox (uh oh, Smash fan favourite). --- Mustache...and green... |

Cloud's gonna kill Squall far more than Mewtwo will Yoshi. this reminds
me of Auron/Ryu round 2, where Auron rocked and everyone sided with

since Nintendo started coming back. Go figure. Brawl didn't live up to the hype simply because it would be physically impossible to live upt o that hype. And the only people playing it now are tourney***s. I said this before the contest and people laughed at me. Once again they got their cummupence. |
