yeah, I noticed those too -- I'm not dumb enough to say that Samus is
going to hold up as well as Mario given Mario/Samus in 2005. what I'm
saying is that Samus didn't get murdered, she did pretty damn well

2003: Samus loses to Link 62/38. Mario loses to Seph 62/38. Mega Man
loses to Seph 62/38. Mario goes 50/50 with Crono, and lets Shadow get
45 on him. Mario places ahead of Samus in the stats by .2% thanks to
some freaky Seph/Cloud crap that allowed Seph to get 49%. 2004: Samus gets 41% on Cloud, and beats Sonic into oblivion with 57.5% of the vote. Mario loses to Crono 53-47. Samus finishes in the stats 8% higher than Mario. I'd be reluctant to go back to 2003 and 2004 because it's obvious that Mario was much stronger in 2005 than in those two years. I'd agree that Samus was indirectly stronger than Mario in 2004, but in 2005, I don't necessarily agree. And I'm not sure why 40% on Cloud puts Samus within striking distance of Sephiroth. It doesn't. Samus ain't getting 45% on 2005 Link indirectly either like Sephiroth did. I just can't see it. Of course, there's no way we'll know because she can't do that directly. I have a hard time believing Samus can beat Sephiroth, who got 55% on Mario, and then struggle to get 40% on Mario directly. Maybe if Samus had done better in that match with Mario, I'd consider it. She just got beaten too badly. And what in the world is Bacon thinkin' giving Sora that picture? He's making some questionable decisions. It's almost like he's doing it on purpose or something! Auron's a little stronger than Sora (got slightly lower on 2k6 Crono

Auron's a little stronger than Sora (got slightly lower on 2k6 Crono than Sora got on 2k6 MM) No, he's significantly stronger - Auron outdid Sora's percentage against Alucard signficantly more than Sora could do against Gordon Freeman. I'll say it again - Mega Man is very clearly the back end of the Noble Nine, and by a non-trivial margin. And I'd take Auron to beat Sora in this format (or any format, to be
honest), but he wouldn't smoke him. Sora's still pretty good. I think
Fox is definitely a step below his range. Sora's closer to Vincent than
