Nice performance by Sora here. He's getting close to what he got last
year on Lara, Wesker, and Daxter, and he should only go up.
NewSquareFAQs for life! Chris Redfield is impressing me here. Closer to Fox than Fox is to Sora is better than I'd have expected. Fox is getting 44.21% on Sora right now, which is good. Yeah, I'd say this should put the old Fox/DK question to rest, especially after the big ape's turd the other day. Still say Yoshi SFFs Fox pretty good next round though. Still say Yoshi SFFs Fox pretty good next round though. For someone as strong as Fox is, he's pretty susceptible to SFF. For sure. Presuming tomorrow's match goes as expected, Round 2 is going to be an SFF fest between Squall/Sora + Yoshi/Fox. | Will be interesting to see who gets hit harder. We saw Squall stand up to Sora SFF and almost beat Sonic last year, I have to give that match to Squall given how strong Fox is looking. |

He's not quite a Nintendo character yet! But the ASV was one of his best times! Perhaps he's not entirely a MGS character trend-wise anymore either! Still, none of these characters are strong day vote guys (Well, Sackboy probably will be once his game actually comes out). It'll be interesting to see how Snake stands up to Zero and Hayabusa this year. I guess we can see how he stood up to Hayabusa last year, though he might do differently. Good morning and early afternoon vote for Vivi. He's not too bad everywhere else either. He doesn't drop off quite as drastically as Zidane. Yesterday's stats: Solid Snake – 50.00% Vivi Orunitia – 33.47% Albert Wesker – 19.51% Sackboy – 16.15% And Sora's actually having a hard time going up right now. He's not doing it consistently. Fox is more of a morning guy than he is anyway, and KH's big time has always been the ASV anyway. Probably because it isn't. That's why you don't use X-stats to form
opinions about anything. A certain measure of common sense has to be
applied, too. Tim is fodderiffic. P-Head would massacre him, as scary
as that is to say. At this point I have to wonder if Tim could beat
anyone that's ever been in the contest, Tanner included. Tim should be falling under 7% within an hour or so... --- :> |

When RE5 comes out and if it gets good sales and a lot of popularity would anyone take him over Sora or Fox? Yeah, anyone expecting Fox to contend with Sora here was expecting too
much. He's not doing too badly here. Chris is doing well for himself.
I'd say the picture this year compared to what he had last year (where

If RE5 is as highly acclaimed and well received as RE4, and it certainly has the potential to be, I don't see how Chris wouldn't
be the favorite over Leon. Taking RE4 and RE5 out of the equation,
Chris should beat down Leon fairly comfortably. Then is RE5 is received
just as well as 4, the recency of 5 should only further benefit Chris
over Leon. I'd be pretty shocked if Leon could take him out. --- mmm test icicles |

I think Kegger is referring to Round 2, to which I'd say that yeah, it
looks confirmed. Yoshi isn't that far behind Squall, anyway, and Cloud

Whoa, Chris. That's my main opinion on today's match About Sora/Fox: this looks pretty reasonable. Vincent beat Falco by ~19% earlier this round, Vincent > Sora because we've seen Vincent beat Squall while Sora's lost twice to Squall, and Fox > Falco because he's the star of Star Fox while featured in SSB. It lines up fine for me... ...what intrigues me is the next round. I imagine Squall/Yoshi will have a similar gap tomorrow that Sora/Fox have right now. Since Squall > Sora > Yoshi > Fox in my book, seeing how the SFF plays out will be fun. I suspect Yoshi SFF's Fox more than Squall SFF's Sora, and we saw how Sora compared to Squall when Aeris was out of the picture; I think Yoshi fending off Fox will be easier than Sora fending off Squall... ...Squall coming in first is a gimme, but it's either Sora advances when we've seen he doesn't hold up well to Squall or Yoshi advances when we've seen him be high on Nintendo's totem poll. | Sora is stronger than Fox, and Squall is stronger than Yoshi. It's a tough match to call, but I think Squall being less than 2% behind Sonic despite Sora last year is good enough to take Squall next round. |
