i honestly cannot fathom why Olimar fails but Dedede succeeds over the actual guy in the trailer. man do these brawl boosts confuse me. That's exactly why Dedede is succeeding. He has more than Brawl. Kirby actually has a fanbase on GameFAQS. --- Demyx is better than Axel. |

I have no idea what type of Vivi picture voters would consider "appealing." I just know he's a fan favorite and the only RPG character amidst a trio of badasses (including the king of badasses who will hinder the other two lesser badasses). It doesn't matter how much Snake has boosted - the difference between Snake and Frog
in 2004 is a lot less than the difference between Snake and Mega Man
now. And before anybody brings up last year, Snake faced Kratos and
Riku in the sprite round. They don't have recognizable sprites like
Frog or Bowser, and Kratos in particular looked just as bad as Snake. --- Mustache...and green... |

i know kirby has a fanbase but Dedede is the least popular Kirby
character we'll ever see in a contest and the kirby series got owned by

And despite sprite round fears, I would hope
that in the year that we're able to create pictures the whole way
through, Snake would get a pic from MGS1 before he would MG1. Not that
he needs it (he performed well enough last year with it -- a
point that needs to be reiterated...at least until Snake's performance

I'd wager that the early vote is more of a "hardcore" SSB vote, given
how crazy its early vote is. as such, I expect DDD to do best then. I think the further we get away from the start of the poll, we'll see Pit do better and better. this is all speculation obviously but Pit winning casual votes seems natural to me. Zero won't need all that big a lead before the ASV. Looking at Link/Crono/Vincent/Zero last year: Gain from 3 PM to end: Link: +0.68% Crono: -1.16% Vincent: -0.11% Zero: +0.62% Zero's ASV looks quite impressive when you consider that he gained nearly as much at 12% as Link gained at 45%. --- Evvivan: Character Battle VII --- Score: 53/64 --- T-127 (70 way) Bracket: Tidus > DK --- Vote: Tidus |
