http://board8.wikia.com/wiki/Luigi_vs_Mudkip_vs_Pit_vs_Tingle_2007 Pit wasn't complete fodder last year, and should get a boost for being a casual favorite in BRawl. From what I hear of DDD, is he's more of a technical character and not a casual character, So I wouldn't expect much of him outside of pre Brawl strength. DDD is popular among casuals, just not as much as Pit, and is also
popular among the Kirby fanbase. Pit may edge him out, but I see it as

| I've got a feeling Ryu is going to overperform here. Maybe even put the fear into Zero with the day vote. Something about this match doesn't sit well with me, and that's the only remotely possible upset. |

| I dunno...I took Dedede over Pit here by a narrow
margin, for two reasons. One is that Dedede should have more support
from outside Brawl, and the other is that I actually wouldn't put it
past Pit to get some antivotes from Brawl players. Almost everyone I've
ever played Brawl with goes "oh god ugh Pit so cheap and horrible I
hate him." I'm not sure if that translates to general hate or just "I
hate to play against him", but I'd be surprised if he didn't get any antivotes. --- Attention, all yoctograms! (It's x2) DIE! |

Also, people are taking Dedede over Pit? I'll believe it when I see it, folks - Pit will murder

Round 1 Division 5- Match 3 Dedede lol brawlfodder Pit lol more brawlfodder Ryu Hayabusa Ryu was very impressive last year, and has since had Ninja Gaiden 2. Given a better placement (y halo division 1) he could have done some serious damage. Zero aww yeah Analysis Zero > Ryu That's really all there is to say here. Both looked good last year, but Zero was still a cut above Ryu. There is a chance that Ryu could make it interesting here with the ASV, but I can't see Zero losing. The only other thing to talk about is which of the brawlfodder characters will win, and frankly I couldn't care less. TuRtLe's Prediction: Zero 38%, Ryu 34%, Dedede 14%, Pit 14% TuRtLe's Bracket: Zero > Ryu TuRtLe's Vote: Zero |

Pit will murder Dedede on design and Brawl favorability And we've all seen how much Brawl will do for a character. Dedede, I believe, should be the favorite over Pit because he has the Kirby games to fall back on. fans who would vote for one or the other may anti-vote Pit in favor of
Dedede. I dunno that it will make a gigantic difference, but I don't

A penguin with a big hammer to me just looks dumb. But then again, I
never saw him before he was announced for brawl, let alone HEARD of
him, so maybe I would like his design more if I knew him from previous

i'm pretty confident Pit > Dedede. after seeing Olimar and

I think Hayabusa actually has a chance to upset, though I'm not taking
it. Hayabusa beat Riku/Roxas last year when there was a lot of
percentage to give and barely lost to Riku the next round when Solid
was in the poll, so let's just say Hayabusa = Riku last year... ...in 2k6, Riku got ~45% on Yoshi. Yoshi and Luigi were approximately the same level that year, and Zero got ~46% on Luigi that year. For the sake of this idea, we're ignoring Hayabusa's poor performance against Dante because of how he did last year. Through this, Hayabusa is barely behind Zero...so throw in NG2 now and it could get interesting. i don't really like bouncing that much back and forth between one-on-one and four-way matches, but that's something that may be worth considering. | Anyone not expecting Zero+Ryu to break 70% here are fooling themselves. 2 bottom tier Brawl characters are going to be killing eachother, and Ryu/Zero have a different enough fanbase. |
