Nothing obvious about Nero or any other newbie. Just because Olimar and

I'm figuring a few of those hours will go in favor of Cube, though. Tidus needs to really
pick up the pace, erase this lead, and build one of his own. He's been
languishing in the 400s for nearly three hours now, and that won't cut

Just now getting in since about 5:30 PM last night...holy hell. I picked DK > Tidus in an upset, but wow. WCC isn't so
surprising, but Tidus smashing DK like this is. I don't know what's
been discussed without me, but immediately this makes Marth (and, thus,
his four-pack) look pretty poor... ...would anybody take Vivi to beat WCC today? Oh, and did I miss anything while I was gone? Looks like there was a LOT of discussion I missed, probably mostly about Ike's "comeback." Prince Marth has had a pretty obvious reason to boost since last year,
and it seems he took advantage of it. I don't think Duke/Niko/Kefka

Seriously, there ought to be a Division X where all the joke characters
can kill each other. Let's let actual new characters from new games
that come out make the contest interesting. For example, Altair is a

The Boss did put up 61% on Celes two years ago, and Kefka could have
likely gotten weaker since then. Plus, the MGS Essential Collection was

I don't wanna say Altair did well just yet...I mean, he surpassed
expectations, but that's more because Lucario blew it. I wanna see how
he does next round before I give him a lot of credit. Altair nearly doubled a Pokemon. Regarldess if Lucario is that strong
or not, he's a pokemon. And a pokemon that starred in Brawl. Anyone who

Yeah, but he also only doubled Isaac who was being held back by a
Pokemon who's also in SSBB. Altair/Lucario/Isaac also did worse against

This is a hindered Isaac though, and this new-age legendary Pokemon who
is playable in SSBB barely outdid Isaac in Nintendo's fanbase.That's
not impressive for Altair to beat expect that he beat Lucario far worse
than we predicted. That's because we generally thought Lucario would
distance himself more from Isaac than he did. We didn't give enough
credit to Altair either, but since it's a lot of both, I'm cautious on
the guy. Altair/Duke should be good, and Marth may still be in good
contention too. If Pikachu still allowed Ike to keep close with Arthas,

I think Division 1 is now Altairs to lose (for second I mean). After
his performance, I don't even think Zack can beat him in round 3. Not
to mention Zack will probably get a pic like this in round 3:

After seeing his domination in round 1, I'd be really surprised if
Altair lost to the likes of Duke Nukem and Marth. Crushing Isaac (who I
don't think was hurt at all by Lucario) makes you a pretty damn strong

Altair's ability depends entirely on how much Isaac and Lucario were
LFFing each other. Since I think they were doing so quite a lot, I'm
not very impressed, and I don't think Altair will get anywhere near

Zach will crush Altair. Anybody who thinks otherwise is an idiot and

It's hard tell if Wario + Cecil > Lucario and Issac. I guess both
Zach and Issac did break 40%, of course if you're going to use the

I think alot of people vote in these contests regardless of who is
involved. I also think that vote totals fluctuate. Altairs match has
the highest total in the whole contest, I guess hes the most popular
character... Lets see popular charcters so far.... Altair = 142k Megaman X = 139k samus = 123k crono = 123k Mario + Zelda + Knuckles = 133k, Link = 136k, Kefka = 136k I'm sure that Altair getting 142K in his match is a result of him being more popular than mario, megaman, samus, crono and link. I'm sure that's it. Also, I'm sure that link isn't as popular as Kefka. Last year, Tidus smoked Isaac pretty bad with Serge in the poll (if you
want to count that as worth anything), getting the equivalent of 64.40%
on him. Pikachu got 67.54% on him. Altair got 67.33% on Isaac this year. Now I know measuring characters by fodder is dangerous, especially in this format, but... Marth probably overperformed in his match due to being the only Nintendo/SSB/Sword character in the match. I don't know if I buy this as a legit factor.
