MM. Though plenty of people will tell you MMX would win in a direct
match-up, I think they're crazy. I'd never hesitate to take MM to outdo

Because it's a cooler looking blue robot with a cool letter at the end
of his name. I mean, that's why I'd side with X. Classic Mega Man's

Ok now I'm 100% sure that Ryu Hayabusa WILL win over Zero tomorrow. Why? Because I got 56 points but I'm still not on the leaderboard, and since this was the most obvious match in the bracket I doubt I will be there tomorrow, so obviously Hayabusa will upset Zero tomorrow just so I won't see my name on the top 50 list. --- Ngamer64: Zylo, you're making less sense every day. WCC wasn't that impressive? He had a hard time beating tidus, I
wouldn't be surprised if he goes out next round and if that doesn't

I have this feeling WCC vs Tidus is gonna be a nail biter again in
round two... think that the WCC draws heavily from the Portal fanbase
while getting the joke support as a mere backup, making it less static

Cube's percentage is far too rigidly in the joke character range to be
disregarded. His trends of storming at the start and dying through the
day only kept ahead by rallying is quite apparent too. As well look at
the two other characters in the poll, Donkey Kong and Tails are two of
the most recognisable faces in gaming and yet people chose Cube over
them so that's a very promising sign for him being able to hold that

I don't think Teedus stays as close as he did last time. Mega Man is
going to be a bigger burden on him than DK and Tails combined ever

See when I made the bracket, I didnt know Lucario was going to suck it up that hard (kinda knew Diddy was going to though) <_< Figured Nero wasnt liked at all and it being Banjo and all, BRAWLFEAR shouldve done it smoothly. then I see Lucario bomb horrendously. Yeah. Well, the main reason I took Lucario to be not crap is because I
thought he had a Pokemon fanbase. Apparently I was wrong about that. Olimar has already proven in the past that his Pikmin fanbase didn't amount to anything, so it was pretty gimme knowing that no one likes him in Brawl. To be honest, I only expect the L-Block to be only "joke" that actually can cause any real damage. Mudkip? The guy who lost to both Ganondorf and Luigi when they SFF*D each other? Nah Mario and X is out of his leauge. Cube? Everyone in this half of division is weak as hell except Mega Man in this format, I wouldn't be surprised if Nero outdid Tidus... Once MM, Snake and Zero/Hayabusa is there, he's dead. CATS? Yoshi and Squall are two of the strongest characters that isn't in the noble nine. And we have seen CATS many times before. Damn you Ansem! Hogger? I have no idea how popular he is, but you can't play Tetris or Portal and not notice the L-Block or The Cube, but I'm certain that there are many WoW players who don't know him. Ramza on the other hand is the main character from a game that went 50/50 with MGS in the game contest, and I would expect it to do so again in a rematch thanks to the recent PSP remake. Sandbag might advance from round 1, personally I don't see what's so appeling with it, but Sonic and Auron should be enough to knock that thing down. Imo DK and Tails being there hurt Tidus more than the CUbe. Tidus, DK
and Tails are 3 casual gaming names, WCC isn't. He shows resemblance to
joke votes voting trend but also shows resemblance to "underground

Personally, I am still iffy about Sandbag, even with the Block and Cube
impressing. Really, do that many people care about the Home Run Contest
in the first place? Sure, it's cool in his role of punching bag while
waiting for a Brawl online match, but with Brawl sucking in this
contest and Brawl's online mode also being terrible, I don't know how
much that helps it. Plus, it has a set of eyes, which gives it some
human features, and the only jokes that have show real strength are the

Yeah, I think Sandbag and especially Hogger look too much like normal
characters to do well with the joke fanbase. Sandbag being sub-Master
Hand wouldn't surprise me. Although, Master Hand being somewhat of a force in this format wouldn't surprise me either. His worst loss was with 40% of the vote, remember. Sandbag at the very least will beat Magus. I have him winning the
contest, which might not happen, but he's not losing to Magus that's

Also, Mega Man/Tidus/Nero/WCC. Nero will completely die and Mega Man will kick ass, somehow I think this is better for Tidus than for WCC? And imo Sandbag goes out in round 1. Master Hand was no scrub even in 1v1. Add a much more benefecial format
and even Master Hand would take down Magus with Sonic there, never mind

Hogger though I'm still concerned about because unlike Sandbag, Cube
and L-Block there's nothing amusing about him for anyone outside of his
core fanbase. But WoW is big enough, he's going to be a prime rally
target and hell...It's Ramza and Laharal, you don't have to do a lot to

Ramza isn't suck fodder, though. FFT did well in the games contest and
43% on Kirby isn't terrible at all. Even if it is 2004 Kirby. I'd be

FFT ain't getting any younger though, and I think this format really
works against him, as his fanbase is more likely to have been exposed
to some of the other characters represented, like Dante who is also a

It was against 2003 Kirby, just so you know. LOl Olimar, Nero takes most of the percent that I thought Olimar would get. Right now Nero is getting 32.4% on Mega Man, in 2004 Tidus got 35.22%.
