Also, remember - DK is the guy that beat Marth. Altair is a damn lock to R3 I'd say. He's a lock, but not because of DK/Marth, but because Lucario (as crap-assy as he is) being in that poll kills any chance he has of coming first. I figured mid-carder Marth would be alone in that half-division of fodder, then Duke and Altair wind up not being fodder, and Marth winds up not being a mid-carder. |

| The biggest suprise of the match for me so far is
DK. I mean, yeah, DK choking isn't surprising, but he's closer to Tails
than he is to Tidus. I suppose I should have seen this coming after

I wouldn't be surprised to see WCC have trends like L. The board is
less likely to give him support than the general voters, tons of people

| He's got 6% 15 minutes in, against Tidus. All the jokes are frontloaded to all hell. Just look at how much L was leading Ryu by, and Ryu has a decent board vote. |

| Cube's definitely making it to round 3. Mega Man's
gonna suck up a ton of percentage in the next round. Cube will behave
like L-Block and get a near constant percentage. Tidus will be fighting

On a slightly related note, is anyone excited to watch Mega Man put up the best Noble Nine performance so far tomorrow? I am! Also, I have a feeling Ryu H is going to overperform in his match. People will be using Zero/Ryu 2k5 as a benchmark which isn't really fair considering how good Ryu looked last year. |

| I've noticed something here. The best characters with the board vote are Smash characters, and characters from critically acclaimed, niche series. If liking the character gives you "gamer cred", then Board 8 likes the character. |
