Hey now. Ike, pre-Brawl, shaved 1300 off of someone who was rather good with the day vote(in fact it may have been his best time during that match) he could cut 2000 off of Arthas in these conditions if he got lucky. Arthas' patterns are slightly suspicious because he's likely being

Do you call 2 straight 18 vote gains by Arthas during the afternoon as
stalling? And I think you are seriously forgetting the rat, who showed
in the morning, he was at 35% during kiddy vote, and Ike didn't go up
at all from the night since it was obvious the kiddy vote went to

Not to mention that Ike needs to cut slightly over 60 votes every 15
minutes from here on out despite only winning a total of six 15 minute
updates all match. I'd be absolutely thrilled if he could do it, and
both he and the rat should have a better ASV than morning vote, but
it's looking extremely unlikely, to put it mildly. --- Mustache...and green... |

This isn't Master Chief, a KH character or Sonic, this is Ike,
a Fire Emblem character who's only trump card will be mostly raped by
Pikachu. There's no chance he's going to demolish the day vote and rake

The record in 1 v 1 is what? 3000 with the Day vote king Sonic against
the day vote chump Crono. Neither of these two are anywhere near that
level and it would require a similiar level turnaround in a format

I do want to clear up one misconception here, though: setting aside any
considerations of S/LFF, the rat doesn't hurt Ike's ASV. It's true that
if the rat were replaced by a night character Ike might be able to grab
a higher percentage during the day vote, but then Arthas would be
pushed down less because whatever replaces Pikachu isn't going to hurt
his percentage. So it balances out in the end. --- Mustache...and green... |

also of note - last year arthas didn't even really drop with the
morning vote compared to at night, but he did drop in the asv. i expect
ike to make steady gains but not near the level of a successful
