The Ike pic probably doesn't matter, but I'm getting annoyed at Bacon
picking pics that have already been used that are also inferior to

Nothing wrong with that Ike pic - although Pika standing out like HELL
might tip the Ninty SFF decisively if it was iffy before. Feeling

Pikachu has been a popular casual pick in every Smash game. He's easy
to use, was the best character in the original, and is actually even
more casual friendly in Brawl compared to Melee now that his down smash

Part of me thinks Bacon just puts all of the pictures in a hat and has

Seriously, what's so cool about that Arthas pic? I kept hearing good
things about it, and now I'm disappointed having seen it. I'm not
seein' the appeal. Well, other than the big sword, I guess. Can't see a
face or anything. The contrast between that pic and the one he got last
year is huge. People are going to recognize that as Arthas? Is that

Ugh. I just lost all confidence in Ike as soon as I saw that pic. He
doesn't stand out or look cool at all compared to everyone else. It's
probably irrational, but I just can't shake the feeling that Ike just

Actually while Albion was ranting to me about how Arthas REALLY needed that pic I kinda thought that too, Leon. Personally, I don't recognize that as Arthas. I'm a huge WC3 fan but I've never gone all the way through the campaign and he doesn't look like that for most of it he looks like the other Arthas. Plus he's not on the box. I don't usually spend any time on the front page other than voting in the poll, so that's probably why I haven't seen that pic. I'm a potential Arthas voter. I like the character and everything... I
don't recognize that as Arthas, though. But I get it by the name.

Alright, now that I've gotten the obligatory pic whining out of my
system, here's something regarding Arthas I've seen brought up but
never really addressed. http://www.gamefaqscontests.com/drupal/node/22?matchnum=2880&num=4 For Arthas to be that strong, he would have to be way above Thrall. Thrall was probably the best-known character going into Warcraft 3
(thanks to the vaporare Warcraft Adventures and it's later
novelization) and the closest thing the game has to a genuine hero. That said, Arthas is probably the biggest mover-and-shaker in War 3, and he's got a WoW expansion named after him hitting next month. At this point, I'd assume Arthas is the stronger of the two. --- Meeh. Whatever. |

Arthas is much more significant to the WC3 plot than Thrall. This is like comparing Kerrigan to like... a less badass Zeratul or something. boosted Ike he needs to be a lot stronger, and I'm not sure if that's

Currently, Alucard has 55.78% on Captain Falcon, 65.24% on Diddy, and 67.92% on Kratos. Falcon has 59.80% on Diddy and 62.66% on Kratos. Diddy has 53.01% on Kratos. Fun Facts: Alucard got 52.22% on Ness last year. Looks like Ness has the upper hand slightly on Captain Falcon indirectly. Midna got 53.95% on Kratos last year. Tight fight between Diddy and Midna, perhaps? Scorpion got 63.46% on Kratos last year. Also, I'm thinking Diddy is basically a DK-lite as far as trends go. For Arthas to be that strong, he would have to be way above Thrall. Even being held down by Diablo SFF, Arthas is projected to beat Thrall pretty comfortably last year. Eh, I have my doubts about his match with Diablo. There was LFF,
obviously, but not that much, and I think he overperformed due to

I think Arthas looks completely awesome in his picture, but is this
just a picture from the advertising, because if there's no game out

Arthas is essentially the biggest badass in PC gaming. -spoilers- -He goes and kills everyone in a town under his fathers control -He kills off all the mercenaries his father hired to protect him on his journey to Northrend -He goes and kills his father in one of the most awesome CGs ever -He then becomes completly overwhelmed by the power of Frostmourne (the sword he's holding in the picture), and becomes the king of the Undead Legions that are taking over Eastern Kingdoms -Later on, he OBLITERATES the second most popular character in Warcraft (Illidan) in one shot, in the epic Fight at the end of Frozen Throne between the two -Then he takes the Frozen Throne, and becomes the Lich King, and the game ends with him suceeding in everything he tried to do, and is one of the only villains to actually defeat the good guys, and is at the top of the world when the game ends. All Thrall does is be emo about his friend died, and is essentially a non factor after his Orc campaign in the original WC3. Arthas got crushed by the board vote last year. Seriously, he was
struggling to stay over 10% for a few minutes. Ike led his match for
the first 35 minutes last year. Pikachu did well with the board vote in the first round, second round, third round, and he was actually beating Dante and Luigi for a few minutes with the board vote there.
