| Checking back at last year Ryu had peaked at this
time and it was all downhill from here. And we're starting to see the
shift as Ryu drops off and Meta Knight picks up. Of course L-Block
could suck even worse with the day vote but his handling of Ryu right

That was a weekend match. Ryu will drop for a couple of hours then increase with the school vote. The ASV will be key though. |

By that logic, 47% are joke votes. Well, a significant population of GameFAQs voted that they didn't give a crap about the contest, so maybe they're interested in messing it up again by voting for L-Block. Fine by me. Well, this contest is over. Anyone thinking L-Block is suddenly going
to drop off and lose to Ryu and Crono when it's going even with Ryu
right now is crazy. L-Block WILL get its 30% or so, and Ryu and Crono
being relatively close in strength will make the difference. Plus, Ammy
being there hurts, too. I'm doubting Crono beats L-Block next round,
honestly. Basically, if you want to oust L-Block, you'd need something
like Link, Cloud, and Jade so that Link and Cloud could get 30-35% or

Sad but true. The only hopes left are that L-Block can rise or fall
like any other character, The Dog isn't SFF'ing L-Block, another joke
pulls through, or the internet in general doesn't rally to save L-Block

Wow, Crono and Ryu are doomed. I'm not giving up on Link in the finals
though- I have a feeling L-Block won't build back up to its end

So when's Meta Knight coming back guys? From the start of this contest
I had no idea why anyone was taking MK for 2nd here... let alone being
the favorite. I do have L going out next round though, and that's
looking absolutely awful right now. I'd be pretty stunned if L isn't in
the finals at this point. I'm not pissed L's winning this, but I am pretty pissed that I didn't keep my bracket with L winning it. With the majority of B8's not taking him to win, even if I didn't think L was going to win, I should have taken him for the odds. If B8's brackets go down in flames from L, who's going to stop me from leaderboard victory? Would have been a good "risk" to take. --- all hail ec your lord and savior |

The problem with L Block is that he keeps drastically changing his
strength every round. This wouldn't be anywhere near good enough to win

I'm just saying that if his strength is constant this year and this is
the best he can do, hes finished. If it fluctuates all over the place
like last year then he'll easily win this thing again and the contest

You know we really only have one way to combat this... we fight fire
with fire! I mean if we could propel Frog through the ridiculous
shenanigans of last years Frog Axel mess why can't we start the rally
for Crono and Ryu now on the most outrageous fan sites we can find. If
we can combine the might of the Chrono Trigger Coalition with the
SF/Fighting Game coalition we might have what it takes to take L-Block
out by his own ridiculous game... or we are all just screwed to watch L
terrorize the bracket for another whole contest... I say start the mass
rallying now Internet Wide everywhere we can we rally support for Ryu
and Crono! Crono for president Ryu for VP! --- Nominate Rydia for this years Character Battle! |
