When did Duck Hunt start its epic comeback against Donkey Kong anyway?

I'm curious to see how potentially beastly The Dog's day vote may be.

When did Duck Hunt start its epic comeback against Donkey Kong anyway?

Duck Hunt started it's massive vote shift from around 10-3. The last half when it started coming back was actually much less extreme of a vote shift than the previous hours had been, but it still kept increasing.

I enjoy Meta Knight and hate The Dog, but damn if I don't want to see The Dog beating MK just for the sheer hilarity.

Mega, calling Meta Knight the "Master Chief or Axel of Nintendo" is really pushing it. And that title's better reserved for Donkey Kong anyways...

Meta Knight is the day vote savior, just you watch! He'll get 20000 votes in the first hour of the day vote and will be doubling L-Block by the end of the match.

Don't you dare count him out yet!

Even though Ryu should win this match, I almost cannot see L-Block losing next round. And if that happens he's going to ruin the Crono/Vincent rematch, then proceed to thrash Mario and Samus in the quarterfinals.

I think Link is our best shot at beating L-Block, due mainly to L-Block rallying not being as huge as last year in the finals (I find it difficult to see the whole net getting so worked up again for the finals), and also some L-Block anti-voting going to Link.

In fact I think Link>L-Block is the most likely single outcome at this point in time. But L-Block has at least decent shot at repeating.

And I have to bring this up again because apparently people aren't getting it: This is still the weakest L-Block performance we've seen in any round. Meta-Knight is looking AWFULLY GRIM right now (though he only lost that last one by 59) but Crono/Ryu are looking good as ever if you're one of those people who doesn't believe in The Dog SFF.

Why wouldn't you believe in joke character SFF, though? The Dog is clearly a joke character.

*Nintendo fan finds the poll, sees two Nintendo characters, is now conflicted*

*Guy voting for laughs finds the poll, sees two obvious joke characters, is now conflicted*

Just makes sense to me. Where else would The Dog be getting his support from?

Ammy would still hurt Crono and Ryu, Dog SFF or not (which is looking pretty damn obvious considering how their updates are going). Three characters with strength is where L-Block thrives.

L-Block has a boatload of advantages next round.

I would also add that the Gordon Freeman vote-stuffing was HIDEOUS. I just don't make a big deal of it much these days because Bacon has more than proven he doesn't care. Just from the look of things, it looks like L-Block is going to go "small loss, small loss, SPIKE, small loss, small loss, SPIKE" all match.

Flat-out not true. He looked like crap in the first round last year, and only had a higher percentage than he does now because the competition was MUCH weaker. Laharl and Nathan Hale <<<<<<<<<<<<<< Meta-Knight and The Dog. The Block is pretty much stinking it up right now, and Ryu's chances of beating him are decent barring funny business.

But Meta Knight looks completely and utterly dead.

He was still pulling a full 3% higher than he is now, regardless of the competition being weaker. And he's dropped more since the beginning of the match. If he follows typical L trends he's going to finish well below his "28% floor" this time around. That's the point.

yeah you can stick a fork in meta-knight now. his only chance was at least maintaining his % while ryu gained and l-block dropped, but he's dropping just as fast in % as l-block is. he'll likely be under 20% with l-block over 30% still at the morning.
