Not really sure what I want out of that match. I have Pikachu >
Arthas and obviously wouldn't be disappointed if I got that result, but
I might be willing to sacrifice two points to see Ike move on. I have
Alucard > Pikachu in Round 2 (must not have thought that one through
very much, or maybe I just really hate Pikachu even on a subconscious level), and a Pikachu/Ike/Diddy split would guarantee Alucard first place there. I have more confidence in Arthas every day, though. After Marth/Duke/Gordon/KOS-MOS's performances, I don't see how you
could have MORE confidence in Arthas than you had before the contest

funny, seeing kos-mos against frog has only lowered my faith in arthas,

I've got Pikachu > Arthas for round 2, but I'm seriously starting to
think it'll be Alucard > Arthas. Alucard and Arthas will have no SFF

I hope we get 3 match pics at once. I can't wait to see the match pic
for friday... to see if Arthas gets some lame pic, or the Wotlk pic. If

And I have first hand experience of this. I know people who play WoW
who are going to vote for Arthas cuz I showed them he's the guy in the
expac, and had no idea who he was previous to that. You realize only
about 20% of the WoW fanbase played previous Warcraft games, right? So
to maximize Arthas' strength, they need to show him in the format WoW

I still don't understand where this Ike support is coming from. First of all, KOS-MOS did exactly as expected. No better, no worse. Just because some of you guys were looking for an upset where there wasn't one doesn't mean she crapped out. Secondly, Duke can be explained by having Duke Nukem 3D come out right around that match, and the fact that we actually have DNF screens. Thirdly, Gordon didn't really impress so much as Scorpion completely failing, which is fodder for MY upset of Axel > Midna, not Ike > Arthas. Lastly, even if you feel Ike beats Arthas 1v1 (I still say that there is no clear favourite for that one), the yellow rat being there is going to suck Ike dry. If there is one result that is being debated that I am 100% sure on, it is this one. |

| Another thing I don't quite get is the faith that people have in Midna. If she could barely beat out Agent 47 and a Fails character less than a year after TP, how will she be able to beat a character from probably the most popular franchise going at the moment (with GH4 coming out in 3 weeks to boot)? People are saying Axel will be weak, but he doesn't have to be strong at all to kick the crap out of that loser Midna. Does anybody seriously talk about Twilight Princess anymore? Not saying it's a bad game, but it's become painfully irrelevant around here. |

Midna - 180 (84.51%) Axel Steel - 19 (8.92%) Miles Edgeworth - 14 (6.57%) Wow, I had no clue she was such a heavy favourite there. All the sweeter it will be when the upset happens. |

I don't even think Guitar Hero's the most popular music-based game series anymore. I don't even think Guitar Hero's the most popular music-based game series anymore. By reviews and critical acclaim, it isn't. But by sales? Guitar Hero was the biggest selling game series of the last two years. GH3 on Wii is only bested by SSBB, Wii Fit, Wii Play, and Mario Kart in sales. If there is one result that is being debated that I am 100% sure on, it is this one. Like I said a while back, I just believe that Ike can win. the match isn't guitar hero vs cloud vs midna vs edgeworth though. it's
a cartoon that isn't even as much an avatar as it is a pointless image
on the screen that you don't even get a chance to look at because
you're looking at the notes, and even then the game's own fanbase is
split between the different toons. i have midna because i don't even

The Wii version of GH3 kicked the pulp out of the PS3 version and
outsold the 360 version. It maybe or may not have out sold the PS2

Ah, I mixed up 2008 sales and total Wii sales. In 2008, those 4 games
outsold GH3 Wii, but not total. And I'm pretty sure GH3 for 360 outsold
it.. I remember first week at least, 360 version killed the Wii and PS3

I like Ryus. its from Street Fighter 4 incase anybody dosen't know
where its from. I'm wondering if SF4 will boost Ryu much... Cuz this is

Well the Wii version came back. GH Wii charted on the NPDs for more
months than any other version. First month sales mean less for a Wii

To be fair to GH3's Wii-sales, it's the first GH on the system --
they've also got to sell the guitars with the system. How did GH3-Wii's

L-Block's and Meta Knight's pictures are pretty lame because there's
too much open space. I guess it can't be helped since they're small but
still, doesn't look good. Ryu's is good, but The Dog has the pic
advantage. Seriously, that is a universally recognizable image, and I
think the fact that it has the pic advantage and L-Block's pic is just

pulled the upset on L-Block and the match ended with Ryu > Dog, do

Also, I'm starting to feel better about Ike by the day. Marth, Duke,
and Gordon have all impressed, and Ike has plenty of reason to be

If The Dog can beat Meta Knight AND L-Block, I don't know why it
wouldn't have a great shot at advancing farther. Seriously, if The Dog
gets widespread joke support over L-Block to the point it takes second,

LeonhartFour (#143) I tried making a Meta-Knight picture, but that guy's too damn wide to do much with this format. It ended up looking like a Round 2 portrait shot.
