While I still am not fond of MMX being in the contest, I understand why
people wanted him in - there's something very different about X and his
games compared to MM than say, Link and Dark Link or Samus and Dark
Samus. Though I do take offense to spurious comparisons that overstate

For contest purposes Mega Man and X are the exact same character. If
both of them are allowed in (and they shouldn't be) then I dont see any
reason why tons of other characters with multiple versions shouldn't be
in either. What does that mean, "for contest purposes"? Mega Man and X are different characters. They're not different versions of the same character, they're totally different dudebots. there's something very different about X and his games compared to MM MM and X are completely Different characters. MM is basically an Astro Boy clone. X started off as a noble but unconfident guy, then became a total moral*** wuss. Infact the only reason X exists is because Inafune though people would BAWWWWW at the sight of their Mega Man not being blue. --- Warning, there is a bear right behind you. Ride Him. |
