Liquid's holding up better than I thought in a match with a Nintendo,

Phoenix has already gotten that picture twice before. Still like the
one he got last year against Magus/Bomberman/Crash. No one really has
an advantage here. Well balanced pic. For there being three PS1-stars and one Nintendo character I don't buy this Same Console LFF, and I don't know why people keep bringing it up. It's just a stretch, and it doesn't show up nine times out of ten. This is just overjustifying Liquid's performance. If he's as strong as this performance implies last year, he should've been stronger than the Yuna that owned him. I missed out on posting my Altair/Lucario/Isaac/Guybrush match analysis, but I think I was better off not doing it! Division 2, Match 2 Bowser He’s lightning in a bottle! He’s earthquake in a can! He’s the Koopa King, Bowser! After majorly disappointing in the last contest, he’s out to show he’s still got what it takes. Fortunately for Bowser, he doesn’t have much to worry about from the first round fourpack. He’s far above anyone here. He’s going to win this fourpack, and hopefully, he’ll look good doing it. He certainly hasn’t looked that good the last two years. Deckard Cain Deckard Cain was one of the few characters I had no idea who he was upon first glancing at the bracket. Apparently, he’s from Diablo. The history of PC characters hasn’t been very strong in these contests. Probably the strongest is…Diablo himself, maybe Arthas. Either way, from what I’ve heard of Deckard, he’s probably more along the lines of a Kerrigan than he is an Arthas. He probably finishes fourth, barring some massive LFF beatdown for… Geno …This guy! Why does he keep getting in instead of the far superior Mallow? Well, I guess he does have a cool look and cool moves about him, but still. Geno can’t catch a break in these contests, and for as weak as he is, he needs one. He’s been stuck with Squall in both of his contest appearances before this one, and if people thought he was being SFF’d those times, it’ll be worse for him here. Don’t forget that Bowser was in Super Mario RPG as well, so that’ll hurt Geno big time. He doesn’t have much chance of advancing here. He’ll have to hope that somehow his fanbase is independent of Bowser, which I seriously doubt. Phoenix Wright This is my first contest as a Phoenix Wright fan! Huzzah for me! This time, I’ll get to enjoy thoroughly Nick’s chances of advancing to the second round. Last year, he had a thrilling battle with Bomberman and led Magus for the first thirty minutes of the match, resulting in one of the more feel-good stories of the contest. This time, Phoenix is the favorite to take second place, and I feel he shouldn’t have any problem doing so. Deckard isn’t a threat, in my opinion, and Geno’s getting nerfed by Bowser. We shouldn’t have to worry too much about Wrighto losing this one. The possibility that he’s prone to Nintendo SFF concerns me, but Geno will be feeling the pain worse than he is anyway. Zack: 23.58 Wario: 19.68 Cecil: 11.25 Jade: 4.42 Link: 53.38 Zidane: 22.76 Shadow: 20.25 Luke: 8.61 Marth: 24.15 Duke Nukem: 22.3 Niko: 19.87 Kefka: 19.07 Altair: 22.35 Lucario: 14.18 Isaac: 13.51 Guybrush: 9.47 Hey hey, nice work on these stats! I did something similar last season, but the numbers I was getting back didn't look nearly so nice as this, probably because I was using all 1v1 stats to try to calc 4way values on everyone. I pretty much buy all of those values... this would indicate that Zidane/Zack could be a barnburner, but of course what the x-stats can't take into effect was how badly Zack was probably held back by Cecil, so I'm still not liking Zidane's chances. But wow, the second matchup of R2 could really be insane... Lucario should be a non-factor in terms of advancing of course, but he could easily weaken Marth to the point where Altair/Duke/Marth becomes the most evenly matched fatal three-way we've ever seen. Thanks, NGamer. And yeah, Cecil's terrible performance indicates
SFF/LFF with Zack, which also points to Zack being a little stronger
than those stats show, but I didn't know how much it was so it's left

Deckard Cain has a good chance, I think the Diablo 2 fanbase will get

Bowser would need to get 65% or so to make me think he was safe against
Liquid. Seriously, he and Luigi are going to murder each other next
round and Liquid NOT taking first place would be an absolute SHOCK to

today's match isn't going to say much at all Bowser/Luigi/Liquid unless
Bowser just bombs. Bowser's going against a SFF'd Mario RPG character,
a PC NPC and a lawyer sim handheld character. Bowser could blow past

Seriously I don't know why you guys think Deckard has zero chance.
Anyone that's played D2 knows who he is(and if you know who he is,
chances are you've chuckled at him or at least like him a little bit). And D2 itself has sold about double the entire Ace Attorney series. If you think Deckard is going to be anywhere near Diablo (you know, the
