This isn't artwork, is the problem. It's below the artwork in terms of
recognizability/charisma. The lettuce and the clown might not look like
Kefka, however if you read magazines like Nintendo Power back in the
day you've seen that bad art in the context of FFVI/Kefka and you know

I wish Bacon would do things like change the pictures after the results
are safe. I'd love to see Kefka get his angel picture right now and see

| Kefka's pretty frequently finished looking better
than Duke Nukem in the contests. Given how much the angel pic affected
him positively I'm not sure why you people seem so sure the opposite

It's not exactly unfounded. The one time he had a good pic he put up
around a Zero level performance. If he had a decline that's even a
fraction of the increase Angel Kefka gave him then Niko wouldn't have a

Eh, I was using Zero through Lloyd through Wesker and Kefka through

Oh yeah, it definitely helped. It just got him more to just under Vivi

I couldn't disagree more... there's plenty of reason to. He has the
potential to flop, and to flop hard. I could easily see him losing to
Issac tomorrow, just as much as I could see him winning. I'm actually
pretty surprised Altair is the overwhelming favorite. At this point
there's not much sense in arguing though. Kick back, relax, and count

Me, I'm taking Ocelot > Ike there. Not sold on Ike getting a massive
Brawl boost (enough to put him comfortably over Duke this time around,

No. And by the way, for the record (mostly because Ulti is here) I still say Duke pickers just got lucky today. Guy is not stronger than Kefka with a normal pic unless he boosted for some strange reason. That being said, he has a good chance of getting out of the division now due to weak as hell bracket positioning. And I'm rooting for him. Ocelot > Ike, I think. Ocelot has been around Kefka's strength in
the past, but his great role in MGS4 ought to help him out quite a bit.

switch to Marth > Duke out of BrawlFear, but chose to be lazy =p.
But based on last year, I don't think Duke being respectable is a

I still say Duke pickers just got lucky today. No. Duke beat Gordon, and I would easily pick Gordon over Kefka (and Tommy, therefore Niko as well). That's all there is to it. If it wasn't for Brawl, I would have picked Duke over Marth too. --- Good Times, Great Memories |

Ironically, Duke's performance last year is only respectable using LOL X-Stats logic I'd say. Gordon Freeman is a joke unless you take his values through Sora or Leon Kennedy to mean something. Guy's still never beat anything of note.
