The worst part is that Shadow had a great power hour in both matches
last contest. I can only imagine what Zidane's going to do to him with

If Zidane can consistently get 30 vote updates from now till morn,

The only reason I gloated last year was because of all the flack people were giving me about Pikachu. And yo, so sig bet is on for Axel/Midna? I feel really good about that one, because I always get one match every year that I say is painfully obvious one way that goes completely against Board 8 reason. Ness/CJ, Ocelot/Pac, Warcraft/GTA and Fenix/Kefka. This just feels like that match for this year. |

Though I think Shadow's still going to win, I do think Zidane's now a
better choice to take down Zack than Shadow. It's looking pretty clear
that Link is hurting him some way or Shadow has dropped...either of
which sucks for him to beat Zack. Meanwhile, Zack may be able to
compete with Zack over FF-loyalty; Zidane was the lead of FF9, Zack was
the lead of CC:FF7 and had a tiny cameo in FF7... ...I mean, Zack's gotta be the favorite either way, but unless Shadow goes nuts from here on out I would think Zidane has a better chance to shut Zack down. | Dude, Zack almost beat Wario by 10%. Zidane needed LinkSFF to beat Shadow. Whichever of these 2 losers gets to the second round, they're going to get smoked. Either Zack is going to SFF Zidane to oblivion, or Link is going to dod the same to Shadow. The only one that can stop him is if Niko ends up being a powerhouse. |

I don't see any reason for Zidane to have gained strength in the past year, and no reason for Shadow to have declined this
much. Link is SFFing the crap out of him somehow. Despite Biolizard
claiming this to be obvious, I admit to being surprised; some SFF could
have been expected, but Link and Shadow aren't even in the same genre.
If Mario were in Link's place, I'd be much less surprised by Shadow
being so crippled. I suppose Sega = Nintendo now in terms of what to
