| And as much as I hate to agree with hochi, Nintendo hasn't looked impressive at all. I'm glad I kinda bet against a lot of Nintendo horses in close matches. |

| Guys, don't forget that Shadow may benefit from
the ASV. I think he's been weaker with it than other Sonic characters,
but he's still okay and I've pretty certain Zidane has been bad with it
against Crono and his match last year (going by memory on all that,
correct me if I'm wrong). | This match is still up in the air. Zidane isn't going to be staying around the same percentage that he got against Alucard/Liquid/Ness with Link in the poll. Just depends on whether Shadow plummets as well. |

So who else do we have that looked great in 2003 that's due for a major ass kicking exposure? Well if you go by the top characters in the 2k3 Extrapolated Standings, you've got the Noble Nine at the top and they have pretty much proven their worth. Next is Magus (who was technically 9th in the standings) who got Knuckles'd. Then Ganondorf (who is technically quite strong but got obliterated by Link in 2k4). Then Shadow who is currently losing to Zidane. Next is is Tidus who got Pikachu'd and probably other things. Which means Zero is up next. =D --- What do you think of the planetarium? I have Axel And all the ASV in the world won't help Shadow once the Square night vote kicks in. IIRC, Zidane was above 20% last year until the day vote came, and that's saying a lot considering he was against an MGS character and Alucard. |

probably other things. Which means Zero is up next. =D Personally, I think Ganondorf lost his credibility as an NN breaker when he completely jobbed to Vincent and crapped out last year. Zero already blew it when he lost to Luigi, so who's after that? And Tidus lost all credibility when he got creamed by Kirby. In hindsight, him getting pimp slapped by Pikachu last year shouldn't have been that surprising. |

| If Zidane can increase on Shadow for the first
hour, he should be able to keep it up until the morning hits. It wasn't
until 4 AM that Rikku was able to pass Knuckles last year, and she
managed a 500 vote lead before mid morning struck and she fell behind.

Once again, all the Sega morning vote in the world won't help you if you're down 3000 votes. Then again, Rikku was leading Knuckles last year. Shadow certainly isn't out of it yet, but I think Zack leaving this division is now a foregone conclusion. |
