| I'm not going to step in and spoil who will win the Niko/Duke/Kefka/Marth match but I will say this - Jill would beat Wario with absolute ease. I don't think you guys fully grasp just how weak Wario actually is. Jill is high end fodder but Wario is sub-tier fodder |

| Eh, I'm not too concerned about us trailing last
year's vote total to this point. In '07 the first match took place on
September 3rd instead of here on the 18th, so there were probably
plenty of younger voters still up and online because they didn't have
school the next day. We also had fan favorites in action, as Yoshi and
Knuckles are well-loved, plus Rikku was there to pull in the TJF and
Square vote. I'm expecting vote totals to recover some as the day goes

Uh... Hayabusa 60-40ing Jill isn't an exaggeration. The ninja's come a
long way, he was on Riku's level last contest. Jill lost to pre-MGS4

They don't really win either. Jill's beaten Kirby in 2k2, Sheena in
2k6, and an SFF'd Midgar Zolom last year (for third place)...while
Wario's beaten CF and Banjo last year (for second place). Beating Kirby

Man, thinking about it, I can see Zack making a killing next round. I
always had him pegged higher than most would put his ceiling at, but I
wouldn't be surprised if he's gettin' up there close to 25% next round
-- though probably around 23 - 24%, if he gets that high. Might be best
to wait to see how he does during the day, but he's wrecking this match
with Cecil hanging around. Pretty impressive, I think. (then again maybe not woo high on zack hype) --- let's mosey |

I was incredibly unhyped for this contest, given the 4-pack format
(which after last contest I'm very down on - despite the many exciting
matches it made, it's just too much of a joke/luck of the draw-centric
format), and also to a lesser extent that it wasn't a games contest. However it's terrific to see that all the good old boys are back for this! :0) And everyone's enthusiasm here is catchy, especially all the Zack love :) I filled out my bracket and had him making the division finals the first time I filled it out. Only made a few revisions on my bracket as I wasn't much into it, and I never thought about changing that pick - but I'm kinda surprised to see that most others had faith in Zack as well. I would've thought he'd be more of a dark horse.
