This match is over now. Unless Wario suddenly decides to defy all
trends and come out of nowhere immediately. otherwise he's going to be

Jeez, Cecil is doing pretty awful. This says good things about both

Zach is breaking away here, I'm happy now. I don't think Wario is going to make up any ground. Round 2 is going to be interesting. This is about as strong as I expected Zack to be, but I think all the
Wario > Zack people such as myself were thinking FFIV DS would have
given Cecil SOME power to draw votes away from Zack. If a DS release doesn't boost an FF character, I don't think a PSP game is boosting Zack much. This is mostly FFVII's power. --- Thank you, Eddie Guerrero. Even though I was the Fall 2k6 Contest Winner, I pale in comparison to Explicit Content! |

By the end of the first hour, assuming these trends hold, Wario is
going to have to make a massive comeback to get back into this. Wario

If a DS release doesn't boost an FF character, I don't think a PSP game is boosting Zack much. This is mostly FFVII's power. Can't even compare the two. Being on the DS doesn't mean you're automatically better off than anything on the PSP. World of difference between another FFIV remake and a good Final Fantasy VII game -- especially when the latter has sold a whole lot more. But it's tough to say how much of this is Crisis Core and how much is FFVII. --- let's mosey |

Even if Wario shocks us all with a comeback win, I'd still consider the
clear favorite against Shadow. This is exactly the performance he
needed. Despite how flimsy one may think it is, Zack is
facing a 3-way RPG voting split. Wario, on the other hand, is the only
Nintendo character in the poll, sticks out like a sore thumb, and is
facing three guys entangled by genre and (kinda sorta) look. These are very similar to the conditions that allowed Pikachu to beat Dante and Leon last year. Zack, however, is just staring Wario down and saying "heh, no." Shadow is a massive underdog. --- Yoblazer: NO LIMITZ Watch and you'll see... someday I'll be... part of your world! |
