Wario's in a not-too-shabby position though - even if Zack is a known
quantity, I expect the fatass to get the day vote. He may have looked
raw with it last year, but seven of the eight characters he was up

Honestly, I'm disappointed in Cecil right now. I never felt he had a

I wonder - was Wario this strong all along, and just looked weak as he
was thanks to Metaknight/Fox, or did Brawl do that much for him? --- The more I learn, the more I realize I don't know anything at all. |

This could be interesting if it stays close, because we really don't
know about Zack or Wario's trends. Wario last year was stronger at
night, but he was consistently matched with day vote characters. He's
certainly not going to be a day vote monster (barring a lot of help
from Smash), but he could potentially make a move in the day. Final Fantasy VII tends to be pretty well balanced, if slightly stronger at night. So if Wario does take the lead, we could also see a Zack comeback during the day. Pretty good way to start the first ten minutes of the contest, at least. --- Mustache...and green... |

And Zack > Shadow? If Zack and Wario are even, then Zack and
Shadow shouldn't really be close. Wario/Shadow was just an embarrassing

Remember when Bowser lost to Ryu because of three Nintendo characters?
That did him a lot of good come rematch time. Zack isn't guaranteed

I think Wario was probably somewhat close to this last year strength-wise (that was after his Brawl announcement, right?)... but he's just really low on the Nintendo totem pole. Yeah, unless the mysterious Zack chooses a time (be it the dead hours,
the morning, the day, whatever) to just start bleeding votes, I think
he's safe for the next two rounds. Shadow can't match this with Link

Zack isn't guaranteed that much of Jade/Cecil's support. Yeah, but luckily for him, he probably doesn't actually need much of Jade/Cecil's support to beat Shadow and Wario next round. the only person calling this match is Ulti, and that's because he likes
sounding like a presumptive ass. or doesn't get the fact that things
change past the first 15 minutes. this is no doubt looking really good for Zack, but I'd expect this (and the dead hours) to be his strongest time. I'm expecting him to build his lead overnight, with Wario trying to bring it back with the day. This is shaping up to be an epic footrace imo. --- wish fulfillment every day |

Excellent, Zack is leading Wario during the power hour- if this were
any other FFVII character we've ever seen in these contests (except
