I have a really bad feeling about Zack today. FF7 has proved over the
years that it can absolutely rock a poll full of fodder. Tifa did it in
2005, Vincent did the same, and then Cloud/Sephiroth of course. Zack
obviously isn't those dudes, but FF7 has a rep of going over and above
all expectations against weak opponents. and even if he does that, I think that he *still* could lose to Shadow, because a lot of those votes will go away when there's somebody worth voting for - Link. it's not SFF, it's that people are like "oh I don't care about these people" and vote for the FF7 dude. GH3 has definitely outsold any Smash game. prove it. vgcharts says otherwise. Not to mention she almost lost to a Tales character less than a year after her game. Unless you think Twilight Princess has gotten more popular since last fall. i dont see why you think Axel would do so much better. this isnt exactly a good point at all for you. are you telling me Axel wouldnt get killed by Scorpion? also keep in mind that you cant even talk about the second match here; Samus was in it as well. --- *is Dranze* Explicit Contest is my lord. |

Since when has the Smash serise sold more than 80 million... You said GH has outsold the entire Smash series (which has, to date, sold a total of about 19-20 million copies) 4-to-1. Sonic seems to be more of a guy that gets Smash support if there's
nobody better. it's not like he was well-received and wasnt already

completely bomb last year. Also keeping in mind that Scorpion absolutely tore apart his fourpack. When a Midcarder is laying that kind of beating on you, you know you suck. Once again I reiterate that Axel doesn't need to be strong at all. Then again, Kefka beating Marcus Fenix was a sure bet, and so was Pikachu getting his ass handed to him. I can see why you guys don't believe me. |

My point is, if a freaking hand from a less exposed series can beat a Final Fantasy villain, why can't the face of what is currently the most popular gaming franchise beat someone who completely sucked last year, and has had a year of huge game releases further putting Twilight Princess out of gamers' minds? |

seen all the other Fails characters completely bomb last year. you know going head to head with HK-47 isnt exactly bombing. neither is comfortably beating Agent 47. they did around expected really. Also keeping in mind that Scorpion absolutely tore apart his fourpack. When a Midcarder is laying that kind of beating on you, you know you suck. i wonder what that says about Frog and Axel then? i think you're simply underestimating how well fighting game characters do in this format. Then again, Kefka beating Marcus Fenix was a sure bet, and so was Pikachu getting his ass handed to him.
