And huh how is screwed having Wario > Zack, you only loose two points if you are wrong (not likely) Cuz most people who have wario > Zack would have Link > Shadow in round 2 since Shadow doubled wario, and if he doubled wario, how would zack stand a chance of advancing? i would say vincent has a better shot at beating mario than x, just
because samus is there too that time. but that's more of me really

On the other hand, I'm reconsidering Mario/Zelda/Knuckles. We've never
seen Zelda go up against Mario, and Ganondorf and Zelda both held up
well against Samus. But we saw Knuckles completely crumble last year
against Yoshi. Maybe Zelda is just high on the Nintendo pecking order
and makes it harder for them to be SFF'd? I'm debating whether or not to switch to Zelda. I'd probably say the 2 are equal 1v1, but who gets hurt more by Mario? --- Like Darth Maul, the bastard child of Michael Flatley and Hellboy. -trancer1 |

I considered this briefly too, but I think Zelda is hurt more. And
Leonhart had a good point in his topic, which is that a lot of Zelda's
votes in a 1v1 come from name recognition more than people actually
being Zelda fans; when you give them other things to vote for, name
recognition is less important. So I stuck with Knuckles. And only Wario and Zack are our match pics, the other two have different background colors. --- Attention, all yoctograms! (It's x2) DIE! |

And I've already switched to Zelda. I'm sorry, but seeing Knuckles lose
his **** to a weakened Rikku made me lose hope, and if he can get his

we already know Zelda has fans (she may have lost to Vincent by a huge
margin but it wasnt enough to go crazy over; it could have been more of

That's the best pic he could have gotten. I'll probably give him an
extra percentage point or two (taken from Wario's), but I'm not worried

Leonhart's Match Analysis! Division 1, Match 1 Cecil Harvey The Final Fantasy IV hero makes an appearance for the first time since 2005, when he was tripled by Kirby. Pushed into the contest on the wings of the Final Fantasy IV remake for the DS, Cecil hopes his second contest goes better than his first. Unfortunately, I don’t see it happening. He was already fodder before, and I doubt the DS remake will do too much for him. He’s really got no shot at finishing above Wario (a sad statement, to be sure), so the best he can do is second. More than likely, he gets third. Jade Curtiss For some reason, one of the most pathetic entrants of last year’s contest returns! And I still insist that Jade is female, despite protests to the contrary! Jade couldn’t even manage 10% and 10,000 votes in one of the weakest first round fourpacks of last year’s contest. Why are the weakest characters in this contest named Jade? There isn’t much analysis necessary here. It’s not a strong fourpack, but it’s probably stronger than what he was in last year, so less than 10% and 10,000 votes it is! Wario Fresh off of Brawl, Wario returns! A lot of people have him winning this fourpack, but I can’t see it. The guy inspires indifference at best from most fans. He had a great opportunity to do respectably in an all-Nintendo fourpack where the strongest character was low midcarder, and he did terribly. He got doubled by Fox and couldn’t even manage a quarter of the votes. He got owned by Meta Knight in the second round, and he couldn’t even manage 10%. Wario will advance to the second round simply because two of the characters in this match are fodder. Zack Fair One of the biggest wildcard newcomers is here, fresh off of Crisis Core! Zack is basically a black-haired Cloud (or is Cloud a blond-haired Zack? DUN DUN DUN!), and he’s from Final Fantasy VII. What more does he need? Seriously though, he doesn’t need much to win this fourpack, really. Even though he doesn’t get much screen time in Final Fantasy VII, he has a memorable role and he’s likable, in my opinion. Crisis Core can only help. Some people think he’ll be hindered by Cecil here, but I think old school and new school Final Fantasy have more distinct fanbases than people think. Cloud didn’t seem to do too much to Kefka last year, for example. I think Zack wins by virtue of total indifference toward the other three. False alarm! And seriously, this first match worries me. I have Zack winning, but I have little confidence in it. Still, I'd rather place confidence in him than someone like Wario.
