Cain doesn't even sell items. And you call me out on being ignorant of the guy. It's an old man who looks like Patrick Stewart, sounds like Sean Connery, and who has a truckload of memorable quotes. Great material for a joke entrant. I'm sure Cain has legitimate fans, and he deserves them... but no doubt
in my mind that the majority of his votes from the Diablo fanbase will

I didn't pick Deckard because I figure he's in the same boat as
Kerrigan. Whether that's an accurate assessment or not, I don't know.
That's just what I figured. In general, PC characters don't do well on

All things being equal, 2k3 was a long time ago and Shadow would be hard pressed to beat him legit in this format. ...Shadow would be hard pressed to beat Wario in this format? What in the world gave you that idea? When has Wario ever given you the impression he's difficult to beat? Getting less than doubled by Auron is more impressive than getting doubled by Fox and getting owned by Meta Knight, pre-Brawl. This match is all Zack's for the taking. It just depends on whether he

i have zack > wario in round 1 and link > shadow in round 2. more

The main thing scaring me with that division now is whether or not
Shadow gets SFF'd by Link. I'm assuming not since Shadow stood up to
Mario in 2k3...but we've come to terms that the match was fishy as
hell, plus Link can drill Mario and Shadow's largely made his name off
of Nintendo. It might happen...and, though we've discussed this a lot,

I figured if you have Zack losing to Wario even if you think he gets a good pic, you may as well take Shadow over him as well. though how hard Shadow gets beaten is questionable... was he the same proportion to Auron with Bowser in the match> --- *is Dranze* Explicit Contest is my lord. |

I'm not worried about Shadow being "SFF'd". It'd be more of the Final
Fantasy VII fanbase being large enough that there are enough hardcore
FFVII fans to get him through. Link will be kicking everyone's ass in
that match and I wouldn't attribute it to SFF if Zack does get by Shadow. It's too easy to kick that term around. --- Proud Supporter of Zero |

hmm i see round 2 zack as relying more on the CC fanbase, not ff7. he
loses the buster sword and no longer is a good target for apathy votes

Maybe one-on-one, but I wouldn't think in this format. I imagine
they're similar with Niko having the advantage, but certainly not

I don't get what's the big deal about the Buster Sword anyways. I
hardly doubt it will make anyone go "BUSTER SWORD, that means that guy
is related to FFVII!" *votes* I mean, I guess if it were to remind
people who know who Zack is, but not right off by name recognition. But
then again, the SOLDIER uniform and spiky hair ought to remind those
people that it is Zack from FFVII. And even more still, the way the FFVII compilation is being put out there, if you even keep up with gaming news, you should know that CC stars Zack from FFVII, even if you haven't even played it, so you shouldn't need visual reminders like the Buster Sword to know who Zack is. And I certainly don't think he has a hardcore fanbase that would let him get by Link relatively unscathed (at least enough to beat Shadow). He'd get blasted by Link along with everyone else. The only reason I considered Kefka getting out of that jumble is because he does have somewhat of a hardcore fanbase (otherwise, he should have gotten killed by Cloud and he did relatively well). That does bring up a good question though: how does CC:FF7 compare to
DoC:FF7? I think CC > DoC in terms of generally being liked from
what I hear, but what about sales and what it can do for the characters
