I still think the massive shift away from L-Block is
hopefulness/favouritism at this point. there's some reason behind it,
but I can't believe board 8 is so overwhelmingly against the thing

L has a much tougher path this time around, particularly the first two
rounds. The only second round pair with more strength (and similarly
minimal LFF) than Crono/Ryu is Sonic/Auron, and, hey, guess who gets

I just love the unpredictability in this contest. For once, there's no
clear consensus on this year's winner. L-Block for the repeat? Link to
make a comeback? Sandbag for the next fad? Has Snake had an uber-boost? If there's one thing I learned from the internet, it's that people love to run a joke into the ground. Half because of that and half because I'm too lazy to change my bracket at this point, I'll stick with L-Block, but damn, I want to see how all this turns out. Sandbag is going to have to get the momentum it took L-Block two or
three rounds to gain by Round 2 in order to knock off (presumably)

Don't forget the last option could mean any of the jokes such as
Sandbag, Dog, WCC and Jinjo. Of course it could also include characters
if the voter thinks that their favorite character won't win the entire

And yeah... even with todays poll, I doubt people will come in droves
to vote for L Block this year, so I cant see him beating Crono and Ryu

to try and recreate what happened. Weighted Companion Cube scares me,
and it's not because it's funny or because I think Portal is popular.

You forget that for the joke to work it has to be all-encompassing. Not

Link and Cloud are looking like chumps, and it's a contest in which a vast majority of voters have absolutely zero vested interest. you don't even have to know what the hell a weighted companion cube is
to vote for it. just look at it, then look at the name, then know what
