Ha, I just thought about that: guaranteed Naked Snake pics for Big
Boss? Might as well include that in your contest predictions... I don't

you implied it by saying that Sandbag needed the SSB fanbase to come
through, as if the Tetris fanbase came through for the Block. all it
needs to do is be recognizable, and if you google image search it,
you'll see it's very appealing. besides, would you really doubt the SSB fanbase? on the strength of two games, it put up like 35% on the freaking Mario series, beating out Sonic's entire series. Pit, a guy in a trailer, got like 16% despite not being in a game yet, and there was Luigi in the poll. thanks to the Brawl fanbase, Snake went from #9 here to possibly #5 or 6 based on a trailer. do you really think they're not going to vote for it? --- xyzzy |

Just saw the Dissidia trailer. Kefka looks bad. With that said, what will Dissidia do? I doubt it helps Cloud/Squall/Sephy ect. much, but it it does well enough it could provide a boost for Zidane/Kefka/Terra...Tidus. >_> --- Brawl FC: 4296-2658-3681 (KP) |

No, I'm just saying that "lulz, it's a freakin' Tetris Block" seems
more apt to gain steam from people in general than "lulz, it's...
sandbag from SSB". And what the hell, you guys are talking like Sandbag

I have Sandbag knocking out Magus, and I'm seriously considering Auron

It's not about getting Raiden to "win" it's about getting a good idea

| It's still just a wager, though. If we based
contest worthiness on wagers, Protoman shouldn't get a chance since
most people seem convinced that he isn't going to amount to much. Sprite round eh.... Random thoughts: LoZ Link VS Erhgeiz Zack. Of course Zack wins. Mario and X are even more confirmed to advance. Ganon takes the fourth place in his poll if he even is in round 3 (Come on Frog!). But serious Pig Ganon is much better than Ganondork, so he got my vote. Division four will be awesome, Crono, Ryu, L-Block, Meta-Knight, Alucard and Diddy all got awesome sprites. Mega Man AND Zero > Solid **** aw yeah ultra awesome upset. Cloud > Yoshi nothing changes. I actually think Kirby might advance thanks to this. Dante worst case would be a Viewtiful Joe picture and that could destroy him. only way something like that happens is if Ryu or Vivi make round 3, and then you've got MM > Snake. pretty unlikely. Big Boss will probably get a lot of MGS4 pics, so I imagine that's what we'll see. --- xyzzy |

Zero doesn't have a bad sprite, does he? I remember him looking godly
even in his original MMX form. I'd rather take Snake > Zero than
Mega Man > Zero. We've seen Zero hold his own against Mega Man

year... though it's not as if Kratos and Riku have the best sprites out
