I was joking about Capcom SFF by the way. I think what happened there was what happened a lot when you had 2 characters completely outclassing the other 2, resulting in a seemingly huge blowout. |

Yeah, I'm just surprised that Yoshi's votes went that much more to
Samus, and seeing how Mega Man being there didn't seem to affect Samus
at all. Samus > Mega Man on the "Nintendo" scale? I remember in
debates Mega Man being given the edge in a head to head matchup with
Samus due to Samus's SFF susceptibility... Anyone taking MM > Samus should be punched in the groin repeatedly. --- can you dig it? |

well perhaps not biased for the WCC but maybe biased against the other two. I'm not a big fan of either character, but I don't actively dislike them. Now if Zidane was in Tidus's place, you'd have an argument for me being biased. Alright, results are in for that "have you played FFs?" poll, and as
promised I'll compare against the results we saw from early '06 to help
find out if this site has become less Square-oriented in the past 2.5
years. How many FFs have you played? None of them! In '06 13.64% of the site hadn't played a single FF. Here in '08 that has risen to 13.99% * drop off of 0.35% for Final Fantasy All of them! In '06 15.61% of the site had played every FF. Here in '08 that has dropped to 13.64%. * drop off of 1.97% for Final Fantasy (however much of that can probably be chalked up to FF11 being included as a "legit" numbered FF in this poll) Can't make much sense of anything else since SB and CJay used different number cutoffs with the other options. So in conclusion... Final Fantasy has perhaps lost a little steam as a site-wide force since '06, but it's probably not much.
