MetaKnight would have to be stronger than Kirby to win that one. Not
only that, but the L-block joke is old. Nobody is going to vote for it

I'd sooner have Ryu > Dog than Ryu > L-Block in round 1. I don't
see joke voters having the attention span for that... and the Duck Hunt

mmx will blue sff mudkip and win just watch Seriously, even though Mario will SFF MMX, they can both still make it. I love the bracket here. My only big complaint is that Tifa gets
completely wasted. :/ The only interesting thing she has going is
whether Sephiroth knocks her down enough for Kratos to sneak in. --- Explicit Content and L-Block owned me in the Guru Contest. |

Yeah, I'm thinking the Dog has a better chance of taking first than the Block. He probably
loses to Block, but if he doesn't he could win the whole damn thing.
And I don't see an L-Block repeat in the cards this year either way. ...of course, my bracket has Zack Fair in the finals, so none of this is really valid anyway. |

Niko isn't making it past round 1. The hardcore GTA fans have had major backlash towards GTA4. --- Demyx is better than Axel. Just like Explicit Content is better than me for winning the Guru contest. |

After filling out a "for fun" leaderboard bracket (I'm going to make a
real bracket later) I'm a bit less critical of it. After the first
round most of the garbage is weeded out and it's a decent bracket. Lots
of SFF, but in this format that doesn't necessarily make things less

Seriously, even though Mario will SFF MMX, they can both still make

the sff gap wasn't there isn't as big, admittedly) there's a big difference between Vergil and Knuckles, yo. he's going to hurt Mario and MMX a lot more than he will Mudkip. you know he's static. --- xyzzy |

Eh, I don't see the Mudkip stuff being as big this year (same with most of the joke entrants). I'm also banking on MMX having some good strength. Nice to see you guys again. Personally, I'm loving all the unpredictability in this. I enjoy the match predicting and watching the mess they become more than the usual "hope my character gets through." So I can find the fun in this. Mudkip is the one joke entrant who actually probably will keep his strength. He's not comparable to L-Block or Bidoof. --- Demyx is better than Axel. Just like Explicit Content is better than me for winning the Guru contest. |

Mudkip's not even all joke honestly. In the past year I've seen quite a few kids and even some of my peers play Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire. Much to my horror they ALL were fans of Mudkip. I was like "oh god no it's spreading" Mudkip isn't static. More like lol at overestimating Duke Nukem. He barely squeaked by a pre
Brawl Ike last year. I'll respect considering Niko for the upset over

L-Block is really iffy to me. I really want to see whether most of the
internet would still want to vote for L-Block before I make a final
decision. It's pretty difficult to predict whether they'll want L-Block
to dominate the contest or they'll abandon him since the joke's old now
or even switch to a new joke. The Dog may very well hurt him too. "Hmmm, L-Block winning last year was hilarious and the best thing to ever happen to that crappy GameFAQs contest, but I hate that ****ing dog so" wait. Why would anyone vote for the dog? He's an *******. Nobody likes him. He's a jackass. **** that argument. So what's your craziest upset so far? Right now I have L-Block > Pikachu for Round 3. Yes, Pikachu over Crono.
