Alright, based on our results so far, I'm pretty confident that we're
either seeing the Top 250 most nominated characters... OR, these could

I've been doing some testing, and yes, I agree there's no way we missed
enough for this to be 256. So it's almost certainly just a Top 200,

Can anyone tell me how this is even in the least bit logical? I mean
I'm not a big programming genius, but SBAllen implemented these correct
spellings manually, right? I mean, at some point he actually manually
typed in for example "Solid Snake", "Metal Gear Solid" to be accepted
as the only correct spelling, yes? If so, what ever would be the point of having only the x most nominated characters be accepted for spelling change? Is it possible that the method that is used to determine which
characters are eligible for spelling change is flawed and that there is
no top x to speak of? I mean the way I see it, SBAllen typed in a bunch of characters' names, and is actually undoing that hard work by not having the correct spelling appear for unpopular characters, even though he did at one point implement it himself. There are still gonna be spelling mistakes for obscure characters. I
think the spell checker is best for determining what game they
originated in. --- Nominate Brock from the Pokemon Series for Character Battle VII, or Onix will use Bind on you forever. |
