I don't think the SSB series is a good spot for him to get his
popularity, though he's one of the originals. Two jumps was frustrating
for many people and he's never been terribly good to my knowledge... ...meanwhile, SMW had him ridable with different colors and powers, and he was very useful. I also assume SMW sold many more copies than any SSB game when you count pack-ins with the SNES, though I don't know that as a fact. Oh, I shouldn't imply that he's gotta be top-tier to be likable. I
meant that he is just more frustrating to become accustomed to when he
comes from other casual-friendly games like SMW and the Mario Kart
games... ...and, though there is truth that "They just care that he's Yoshi," that probably directly stems from him being very likable in SMW and/or the Mario Kart games. Cecil was tripled by Kirby back in SC2K5. Since then, FF4A was
released, and now FF4DS is out. I'd like to see Cecil in action

Yoshi - umm....Sora maybe? That'd be interesting to see. Solid Snake - Samus Aran, for obvious reasons Kratos - ...uhh....Let's give him DK one-on-one. That looks fun. Auron - umm....Vincent, maybe? Ike - Honestly....I'd love to see Ike vs. Frog or Magus, just to see how little we think of the lesser CT characters nowadays. |

Yoshi - I'll say a rematch with Dante. Does DMC4 going multi-platform
compete with Yoshi's appearance in SSBB, MKW, and the epic 0.71%
increase in women? Solid Snake - At this point, I'm willing to say Solid's closer to Mario than Samus...but I feel better about Samus's ability to beat Solid than Solid's ability to beat Mario, if that makes sense. Either one's fine. Kratos - Kratos/Kirby, like it should have been last year without L-Block and DK in the way. Auron - Squall, hands down. Win or lose, that's going to cause a lot of debate, some good controversy, and likely a very close match. Ike - I want to give Ike some credit, but he took third last year while Duke Nukem and Gordon Freeman split each other and Marth still clearly lost to DK. Yoshi -Zero,after beating Dante and getting a few boost since I reckon yoshi could have a good match with Zero. Solid Snake -Samus,but depending on when CTDS and the contest is out a match vs Crono could be interesting depending on the DS game's reception. Kratos -rematch with Alucard would be cool. Auron -huh,SFIV Ryu?or Squall. I'd have to give it to Vincent. I argued for Tifa as long as I could,
but I'm not gonna stand behind Samus/Tifa being anywhere near legit and
Vincent has shown he can more legitimately compete with the lower Noble
Nine. Throw in the old FF7-polls saying Vincent > Tifa, Vincent
getting his own game compared to a cameo in KH2, and Vincent having
more awesome scenes in FF:AC...it'd be close and respectable both ways,

At first I would have taken Tifa,but even if they are FFVII characters
they seem to have branched out in different directions,I see it like a
cloud vs sephiroth match as in the SFF isn't really noticeable. oh and with the lower noble nine all finding reasons to boost it's actually becoming more and more unpredictable to rank them,so matches between them could be quite exciting post MM9,CTDS and Sonic games,at this rate I really don't think Vincent is quite ready to take them on unless he's up against sprite snake. --- Day Brawl was supposed to arrive by mail:02/07/2008 Day I got a refund and bought the game in a retail store:17/07/2008 |

Yoshi - Sora sounds good. Maybe Auron, because I have ridiculous optimism for Yoshi <_< Solid Snake - L Block-the rivalry continues! Kratos - Scorpion maybe? I'd pick Scorpion though. Auron - Yoshi. Yoshi - Sora. I agree with the others. Zero? After what Luigi did to him? Snake - Samus (Obvious). Sonic could also be interesting if all his upcoming games are as good as they seems to be (which is very unlikely) Kratos - Masterchief. Auron - Gimme Squall, this is a match that could go either way. Ike - Captain Falcon maybe, I didn't understand why people thought Ike would advance in his fourpack against the Duke and Gordon Freeman (Heck on any place that isn't NintendoFAQs, even Guybrush would've beat him) Now with Brawl, I think he's up there with Captain Falcon. Kratos - Scorpion maybe? I'd pick Scorpion though. are you sure? i'd probably take Kratos over Sub-Zero alone, and Scorpion can't be anywhere near Sub-Zero. Now with Brawl, I think he's up there with Captain Falcon. With his own game, I'd say he's a bit above Falcon at least. also i'd be confident with Frog > Ike. the last time we saw Frog had him struggling with Axel; but i don't really trust that format to begin with. besides that, he got 30% on Samus; only a year later that Rikku did a percent better. despite all the possible drop he could make, I think he's at least still a solid mid-carder which is more than what I can say for Ike. --- *is Dranze* Brawl FC: 4081-5169-8762 |

I dunno, I think Subby could do it. We've seen what a big Icon of the
90's he's. After Mario, Sonic, Donkey Kong, Mega Man, Ryu and Link,

Uh, Donkey Kong would destroy Frog. if by 'destroy' you mean 'beat with 55% at best. i still think they're reasonably near each other no more than that range. they both faced Master Chief a year apart (with DK facing one with Halo 2 i think? either way they can't be ridiculously far away or anything). i think in order for Ike to win that match, it'd be more about Frog's weakness than Ike's strength. if Frog dropped relatively little since then, he's still around people like Alucard and decently about Ryu Hayabusa (who I think would have a good match with Ike as it is). and yeah, i wouldn't be surprised if Sub beat Kratos. it would only mean he didn't get much from GoW2 --- *is Dranze* Brawl FC: 4081-5169-8762 |

Since then, DK's had all the DKC games become top sellers on the VC,
SSBB, and the Nintendo boost. CT's 2k7 performance in general was

Solid Snake - I wanna see my boy tackle Link sometime soon, just to see what happens. I know I'd like to see this too, just to see Link dish out yet another 60-40 beating on a NN member, despite Snake being stronger than ever. (Yes, I honestly think Link could 60-40 Snake, maybe more. DK is the safe bet pretty much and if Frog dropped at all then DK can at least scrape by. i don't believe DK boosts by Brawl though. he's DK for crying out loud. though why would you feel confident with DK > Magus? that'd match be pretty close right now if you ask me. the winner won't win anymore than say, 52%. oh, and Link is still a beast btw. I don't know why Snake would even break 40%. 40% on the actual Link himself is a very huge accomplishment. you can do that to 2k3 Link, but today's Link? just think how much stronger today's Link is compared to 2k3 Link. --- *is Dranze* Brawl FC: 4081-5169-8762 |

just think how much stronger today's Link is compared to 2k3 Link. According to lol x-stats: Link (2007c) VS Link (2003c) Link has a strength of 59.90. Link has a strength of 50.00. Link wins with 58.26% of the vote! A win of 28,996 with 175,442 total votes cast. Also according to lol x-stats: Link (2007c) VS Snake (2007c) Link has a strength of 59.90. Snake has a strength of 45.41. Link wins with 62.10% of the vote! A win of 47,258 with 195,360 total votes cast. though why would you feel confident with DK > Magus? that'd match
be pretty close right now if you ask me. the winner won't win anymore
than say, 52%. Because Magus was closer to Phoenix Wright than he was to Big Boss. Magus got absolutely smoked by a character who I would take DK over without a second though. The Boss, MGS3's most popular non-Big Boss character, is on-par with the Tales of Symphonia characters. Hell, if "Solid Snake with an eyepatch" had that much of an impact, then Magus actually looked better than he should have. Had Magus looked decent in his first match, then I'd have doubts in DK, but as it stands DK proved what we've already known since 2k2, that DK is popular, but very few actually love the guy. He had two matches with two guys who are more popular in Smash than he is. Magus, on the other hand, had every reason to look dominant, or at least remotely strong. |

I think I'm gonna hold a rally for Brock from Pokemon. We've never had
a pokemon character in the battle before and I think Brock is the most

Ok, here's something that confuses me. Why is it that 'Red' is the only
name for Pokemon Trainer that is considered canon when 'Ash' is one of

I think they generally try to keep the games and the anime seperate.
The anime follows the game loosely, but it's not really just the anime
version of the game. Kinda hard to explain, but essentially they're two
different stories and thus the two characters are different. Which is a good thing, because Red >>>>>>>> Ash. --- i got nuthin |

Well, my favourite gym leader is Giovanni, but I figured more people
would know Brock because of the Anime and him being the first gym

brock has anime power like misty. Red is the playable character that most people called Ash but he might get anti-voted if people confuse the two,Blue on the other is your first rival and should also be a top character,then there's Oak. A lot of people have played red and blue right?
