ATTENTION ULTI (or whoever creates the next topic): http://web.mit.edu/adamrose/Public/allpolls.txt Add this link to the set of links posted in the first post. I see you noticed that my server is down, as a result of my having graduated from MIT and said server no longer being connected to the internet. I've moved my listing of all of the polls to my MIT webspace at the above address. That will definitely be good until January or so - I'm going to see if I can convince MIT to let me keep it longer (hopefully indefinitely). If not, I'll put it somewhere else when January rolls around. I've also re-ran my scripts and updated it, so now it has all of the polls up through yesterday's (I hadn't updated it in almost a year). --- If life gives you lemons, make lemonade. Then try to find someone whose life has given them vodka. |

Big news -- FF13 is now going to be on the 360 too. However this affects Sony and Microsoft, this puts a lot of new stock into Square and FF13. Oh, and now I would REALLY like to see a "Got PS3?" poll next
week...not only to see how MGS4 affected its sales in the past month,
but also to see how the No-options would go without FF13 being

It's a good thing Sony was able to keep MGS4 as a PS3 exclusive now.
Otherwise, it'd be yet another nail...Well, you know the rest. As for CATS, he's fodder. He's not anywhere close to the fodder line, even as Face CATS. I've heard some people say Captain Falcon should be the new standard, but I don't agree with that either. I don't think he's at around 20% on BL. Maybe Axel? --- "But you have been given freedom. All BL stats: Axel '06 - 23.15% Captain Falcon '06- 19.70% Vyse '03 - 19.05% Vyse '04 - 19.21% Using the best knowledge we have, Captain Falcon would be more than strong enough to replace Vyse as the new fodder line (assuming Falcon's stayed constant...). That's assuming you want a new equal of the old Vyse, though. --- "Ah, a party! We haven't had one of those. It could be fun! So...what is a party?" "Well, you drink punch and eat CAKE! ...I think." |

For some reason, getting tripled by Crono doesn't strike me as someone

I'm up for saying that 20+% on the champion each year is enough to not
be fodder. How they relate to other characters in past or future years,

Funny thing is depending on where you live this announcement's meaning
varies,on Gfaqs this can cause a ****storm,but just about everyone I
know will buy the PES games instead since FF=stand,wait,attack,get hit
and repeat. Is europe,especially the UK really into sports games?from Fifa to PES to Football Manager etc... RPGs appear don't get a lot of attention and a lot of younger people seem to be really into FPS games. And just wondering,we've seen a lot of people gloat with glee at childish PS3 fanboys throwing tantrums on a few boards like the FFXIII boards,but does anyone really think these people who enjoy laughing at such whiners will actually buy the game in droves? --- Day Brawl was supposed to arrive by mail:02/07/2008 Damn the Royal Mail. |

I could see why Sony fanboys would be complaining about the move
because the PS3 needed another major exclusive. At least MGS4 was kept
exclusive for them. And there's always KHIII, but that's probably a couple more years away anyway (though so is FFXIII, it seems. Come on, FFVII through FFX came out over a 5 year span, and now it's like a 5 year gap between each installment!). --- "But you have been given freedom. Freedom to be...outside." |

I heard somebody mention this yesterday...but I figure Sony is now
going to try clinging onto KH3 ever-so-tightly. Likewise though,
somebody else mentioned Nintendo getting its hands on KH3 to make it

I hear) would rival the news of FFXIII going to the 360. If it had a

The "announcement" was pretty much this: "the Mario and Zelda teams are
working on new games". No one knows when they'll actually be coming out. Apparently, though, Miyamoto later confirmed SMG2 and NSMB2...but again, no idea when they're coming. --- All the stars in the sky are waiting for you. Brawl FC: 4253-3155-6697 |

Frogger might beat the crap out of some obscure RPG character like
Vyse, but I think, like Pac-Man, he'd crumble to anyone with a shred of

He'd still at least have some potential to be surprising, which you
can't really say about the rest of the field that hasn't been in yet. The guy got over 3 million people to buy his PS1 game despite not doing anything since his glory days. He sold well on two GBA games. Well, he might pull a small surprise and do like 5% better than the expected 75/25 against whatever midcarder he's stuck with first round. Still, he has more potential to be at least somewhat interesting than other characters that haven't been in the contest yet. --- i got nuthin |

True to a degree, but we usually don't get much productivity except for
the first two weeks after a bracket is released or after matches that
go differently from expectations...and even on those, if it's a huge
upset (Knuckles > Magus), the topics become even more hollow than

| Did you guys see Microsoft epic comeback two day
ago? Microsoft had 19% to Sony's 23.5% before the day vote hit. If it
wasn't for the FF13 announcement in the middle of the match, I don't
