It should, I think L-Block's lead has peaked. But the question is
wether Link can dig in fast enough to him. Like 2 rounds ago when Snake

This sucks. Not L-Block winning really, but the fact that most people
got boned by getting passed by people who had Sonic > Snake and
Cloud > Link. I'm sure this isn't the first complaint made, but it
just dawned on me what the consequences were. As for the match, I'm not shocked at all. I was thinking this a while ago. If people are willing to vote for a joke character like L-Block all the way through Sonic and Snake, I seriously doubted that they would suddenly stop for Link and Cloud. They aren't immune to the craze either. Besides those worried about their bracket, I couldn't see too many people just abandoning the L-Block after sticking with him for so long. But yeah, this scoring format sucks. I think it was just a matter of lazy programming by Bacon. It makes no sense that someone with a losing character winning overall but the right person in second place should benefit more than someone that has second place winning overall. I mean there aren't many instances where a bracket maker goes "Hmmm, I don't know who will win this, but I know for a fact that Character X will get second". I'm sure it wouldn't have been too hard to program this into the scoring system. it just dawned on me what the consequences were. *Raises hand as one of the people that got boned* Yesterday I was sitting at 11th place, & seeing that EC had two brackets ahead of me I was technically in 10th place in line for a prize, then today I see 5 Sonic>Snake brackets pass me up and destory any slim chance I had left! :( --- Current Points: 463 -- 16th on Leaderboard 11/17/07: The day Street Fighter 4 became a reality! |

People who picked Sonic > Snake and Cloud > Link not only picked
the better character to win, but they also took a huge risk. They
deserve their points and hopefully EC wins the whole thing since he's
