Because whining about Link losing would be one of the most garbage filled complaints I've ever seen. It's not Link losing that bothers me...it's just that most of the fun in these contests, for me anyway, is in debating what will happen based on previous data, calling people morons and being called a moron in turn, and being proved right/wrong based on having followed the right/wrong theories about whatever factors would affect the match. But L-Block kills that. It gets beaten by Kirby and then beats Link. At that point, the results may as well be random, which is, well, kind of boring, since it makes analyzing past matches pointless. Sometimes unpredictable rallies can be fun, but at this point, it just feels to me like the contest has been hijacked, and this topic may as well close up shop, because stats don't matter at all. I mean honestly, I can't even wrap my head around why someone would
actually have a problem with Link not winning. It just makes me want to

So what's everyone thinking for the most part at this point? Missed the
beginning and don't feel like going back and reading now. I still think
Link has a fine chance of winning (other people still do, yes?). Also, I think L-Block supporters are just as annoying as those incessantly whining about it. They all seem to believe they're above everyone else just because they're supporting something out of the ordinary, and clearly if you don't support him you have no soul, and deserve to go to hell. I'd be absolutely elated to see Link win today, and I hate Link, this is how much they've got to me. --- Explicit Content. hungry like the wolf |

The most fun things for me are analysis & debate, watching
super-close matches involving characters I have a heavy rooting
interest in, and huge shocks. Probably in that order. This 4pack contest has been great, but I'd rather not see another one. I'd be absolutely elated to see Link win today, and I hate Link, this is how much they've got to me. Well most of them aren't too bad. they've continued to run since the beginning, but I doubt they were
created because Ceej thought "oh hey, gotta increase traffic."
Regardless, even if it was the point, I don't see much what it would
have to do with you. Well if L wins here, congrats to all those
supporting him, hope it's fun, and if not, expect me to be running
around the board tomorrow like a jackass making fun of his supporters,

By the way, and I've been meaning to post this for a while: Wow...um... still nobody on the leaderboard has L-Block winning it all. Do you think anyone on the final leaderboard will have L-Block as the winner? (assuming L-Block hangs on) In the last topic, cyko mentioned having a joke/throwaway bracket by the name of JamKuradoberi that had L-Block > Link in the finals. According to cyko, that bracket will win the contest if this result holds. |

That's my problem. It feels like the contest has been hijacked. What do you think SBallin' is thinking about this? It doesn't seem
to me like he'd be all enraged like some people are, so far he's been
pretty chillin' and ballin' about everything. Why would he care? He gets paid by CNet either way. Increased traffic probably doesn't even mean anything to him, I doubt he has an equity stake in the site. I want L Block to win but this match isn't as fun as it could have
been. L Block was far more fun when we still questioned his ability to
actually win matches. But probably 70%+ of the board was expecting this
and now its just L Block slaughtering them. It'd be more so more epic
with L Block edging Link out barely. --- Demyx is better than Axel. |

Oh no, he's ruining the credibility of this contest by having the contest be more representative of the internet rather than being representative of the same Nintendo and Square fanboys we've seen vote in every other contest! Seriously, what's the big deal about off-site voting anyway? We wouldn't have had the epic Mario/Cloud without it, after all. I see nothing wrong with the entire internet rallying against GameFAQs and hijacking this contest.
