(By updates I mean 15 minute updates) Fun facts: L-Block had a update where he increased his lead over Snake by 988 and Master Chief by 1179. Snake won 3 updates vs L-Block, and there was 1 tie. Master Chief won 6 updates vs Snake, and all 6 of them were in the 9 updates starting at 10:00. Master Chief needs to win updates by an average of 88.5 votes to tie Snake. Cloud vs. Samus... in Round 4. Here are the percentages: Cloud - 41.23% Samus - 28.80% L-Block - Solid Snake - I would assume Snake and Samus are roughly the same strength here. Cloud got 1.43x Samus' votes then. I would say if L-Block gets 1.4x Solid Snake's votes by the end, it'll be pretty much a lock to beat Cloud tomorrow. Of course, L-Block has only 1.35x Snake's vote right now, and the percentage gap will keep closing. It probably won't close a whole lot from here, though. And, considering Link's not too far ahead of Cloud... --- "Ah, a party! We haven't had one of those. It could be fun! So...what is a party?" "Well, you drink punch and eat CAKE! ...I think." |

L-Block...seriously? He went from landing second place against Kirby with 31% while Laharl and Nathan Hale was in the poll...to currently landing first place with 36% against Solid Snake (beating him for a second time!), Master Chief, and Dante. That's more than just a static fanbase -- L-Block is catching on, a LOT. Now, that said, remember what LoZ did to Tetris in the Game Contest? Yeah...don't expect anything like that, but in a poll of three very diverse and strong Noble Niners and having seen L-Block pick up the most steam when there was no Kirby/DK...just a thought. | L-block's basically picking up the entire Nintendo
vote (why would a Nintendo fan vote for anybody else in this poll,
given that Tetris is likely the only game of the four a Nintendo fan
has played?), plus a large quantity of joke votes and antivotes. Frankly, this is probably the best set of opponents for L-block to meet this late; replace any of them with a character with a Nintendo fanbase and L-block would be performing much worse. |

many less votes is because it was an SFF match. Swap MC and Snake for

carbon copy of match 3 of the battle royale in '06, except with L-Block
instead of Sephiroth. Should be interesting to compare and contrast
