Well, we saw the exact same thing with Mario last round. It didn't take
too long for him to start collapsing. Samus, and to a much lesser
extent Link, should follow that same pattern here. Sick board vote, but

most of you know better, but just in case -- don't overreact to Link's
domination here. we all knew this was coming. Sephiroth has a
particularly bad board vote, way worse than Cloud ever could. Samus

Now that update made more sense. Although still, doesn't look like
Sephiroth will be impressing today. No way he finishes ahead of Samus,

Anyone find it strange that Cloud is SFFing Seph to the ground while
Link is failing to SFF Samus? TP made Link lose his SFF powers and it

Well, the quarterfinals match opening was pretty messed up, otherwise I
would bring up the fact that Vincent+Seph were accounting for more

15 minutes into the third match of the Battle Royale (which,
coincidentally, also had four characters and three of them appear in

Everybody did poorly today. As a result only 5 people fell off the Top
50 today. dragoncrazer, syntaxerror7, smitelf, shadow8021 and IAmAnAlt
did not have L-Block > Solid Snake as yesterday's winners. 4 people on the Top 50 scored half points and rose in rank. Hmmmmm...at this point, Cloud winning in the finals on his own strength
is next to impossible. Right now, everything lies on the Wild Card we

What an odd result here... I didn't expect Sephiroth to get hurt more than Samus. But then again, it's FF7 against Nintendo here, SFF hurts FF7 much more. I had a very teeny tiny feeling that this

I did think that same-game SFF would be greater than Nintendo-SFF here,
but I went optimistic and predicted 20% for Sephiroth and 16% for

I can't BELIEVE how poorly Sephiroth is doing... though maybe he'll
catch up to the point where he can match his proportion to Cloud last
year. I'm not sure about that, though. Really good job by Samus, too.
Despite Link being there, Samus isn't dropping in percentage much. Link still has more votes than Cloud and Sephiroth combined, despite Samus being there (as of now), heh. --- "Ah, a party! Cloud's doing a great job right now, I think, for as early as it is. He
shouldn't have a whole lot of trouble hitting 30% in this one and
holding it. Sephiroth probably won't end up looking as good, but he
should end up being pretty close to Samus at least. A shame too,

Should L-Block make the finals, Cloud still has a good chance to beat
Link, I think. I think L-Block hurts Link the most by far out of any

The key thing in the finals is gonna be L-Block messing up everybody's
board vote. A lot of the FF7 anti votes are likely to be mixed in with
L-Block's crazy board vote, which limits the amount that goes to Link.
Therefore, Link doesn't explode as much in the start and remains within

Cloud should have no problem hitting 28%, probably 29+%, good shot at 30%. However with Samus doing so well and Link still dominating anyway, it looks pretty bad for Cloud>Link.
