| L-Block seems to be holding firmer than he was
earlier today. Snake fluctating around the very high 300s won't cut it.
He can't take forever to break every 100 barrier. And look, another tie. Now it's been a hour since Snake has broken a 100 barrier (When he brought the lead down from 430 to 398 on 15:31), and L-Block's still leading by 379. See what I mean? Squall has done fantastically this contest. Although L-Block, MC and
Pikachu are obviously the #1-3 stars of this contest in terms of
expectations, Squall definitely shouldn't be far behind them. And he
did everything he did in spite of LFF, rather than because of it like
Pikachu and Ryu. It looks like the near elimination of anti-votes theory about this contest was a success, too, considering I bet Squall's hefty anti-votes being dissipated in the same manner as MC, Pika and Sora's helped inflate him from impressive to quite impressive. Come to think of it, Cloud and Seph are always whined about vastly more on this board than Link or Mario ever have been, and although the board obviously doesn't represent the voters completely, one would have to suspect that Cloud and Seph do get a lot more anti-votes than Link does. Cloud's anti-votes will inevitably go (to a large degree) to L-Block and Snake, I'm sure, so that is definitely one more sign that points to a possible Cloud win. Assuming he can get through L-Block, of course, which at this point I honestly don't know. Heck, maybe we might even see Cloud > L-Block or L-Block > Cloud.
