and Squall who is on the NN precipice the entire match That would have been funny if Squall had beaten Sonic, the Jokel Nine defeated twice in the same match :) --- www.gamefaqscontests.com www.gamefaqscontests.com/gallery |

Everything considered, this match is pretty boring. Once the shock factor (which wasn't even that
shocking, some were saying it'd happen) of the damned Tetris Piece
jumping out to a 1700 vote advantage was gone, there was nothing. --- I'm the most important member of GAMEFAQs, and they didn't even reserve an account for me!?!? |

It won't be boring after S-Ballin' confirms that all of the other
matches were legit but that this one was pure stuffing and that Snake
> Sonic > Squall > L-Block was the actual result. =o The board reaction would be insane. Even if that were the case, he might not do it just because of how scared he is of what happens. <_< ~~~ Ashe. CT/LTTP is my favorite contest match ever. --- Go Ducks Go! |

The prediction % for L-Block is going to be lower than the the amount of non-block topics currently on the board. Suddenly the noble nine now looks like the joke entries |

We've probably seen countless 9 hour stalls... except they weren't in
the range that this match was. If it was closer to 0, then yes, it
would have been epic. It was still a good match, since no one ever felt
safe with L's lead up until 9ish I'd say, but it wasn't great. --- Explicit Content. hungry like the wolf |

There was no lead changes or comebacks, but damn it, L BLOCK BEAT DOWN 2 NOBLE NINES. and squall Gave them a swift backhand and made them bow to the new king |
Mac Arrowny | Posted 11/1/2007 8:23:21 PM | message detail |
I doubt L's percentage will be that much lower than last round, since most of the people who had him then and now are probably joke/zero/favorites brackets. --- Rapid analysis, accurate judgment, and superb powers of concentration. That is all we need. |
creativename | Posted 11/1/2007 8:25:45 PM | message detail |
L BLOCK BEAT DOWN 2 NOBLE NINES Link once beat down five :) Also L-Block's percentage here might be higher than last rounds in terms of getting him fully correct, because most people who had him advancing this far had him first. --- www.gamefaqscontests.com www.gamefaqscontests.com/gallery |

The greatest match in contest history is Mario vs. Cloud. I usually
don't parade my opinion as fact, but this is a deserving exception. If you don't think the greatest match in contest history is Mario vs. Cloud, you are wrong. --- yoblazer33: NO LIMITZ Watch and you'll see... someday I'll be... part of your world! |

Last round percentages... L-Block 0.88% / 2.60% The round before that was L-Block 2.14% / 4.53% I think at least half of that 2.6% who had him first last time will have him first again this time. Dunno if that makes up ~3.5% of all brackets, since the only people that have more than 1 are likely on this board. Still, the sound of brackets being smashed will be like a sonic boom |

Master Chief vs Frog might've been the greatest match ever if MC won. Unprecedented monstrous comeback in a character contest. A comeback in kind from Frog. Then a one hour back and forth match at 0 to wrap it up that didn't get boring because it was only an hour. --- I'm the most important member of GAMEFAQs, and they didn't even reserve an account for me!?!? |

The only people going to benefit from this are the Sonic>Snake guys, which, quite frankly, is totally lame. My favorite match was Halo/Starcraft, for many reasons. --- If you fail at life you try suicide. If you fail at suicide, what's next? Failing at poetry... - Fidormula |
paraboxx | Posted 11/1/2007 8:33:34 PM | message detail |
Looking back, this match probably won't seem like much (unlike the
result). But watching it was downright phenomenal. The unbelievable
early vote, three separate comebacks stalling out, the explosion on the
board....Sure, there was no actual lead change, but other than that
this thing had it all. And that's all assuming no late Snake rally, which is still not out of the question with this lead. |
hochiminh155 | Posted 11/1/2007 8:34:12 PM | message detail |

yeah Frog and MC didn't let up until the last millisecond. The stuff of legends right there. That and LttP/CT, except for the anti-climactic ending. |

My favorite match was probably Frog/Master Chief. Greatest match? Hmm...Chrono Trigger/A Link to the Past and Starcraft/Halo come to mind. Funny how they're both in a contest that had so many duds...that was a very up-and-down contest. --- www.gamefaqscontests.com www.gamefaqscontests.com/gallery |
