That being said, while I'm loving L-Block now, I'm kinda hoping he
doesn't return, or if he does his "Always get 30%" stays the same in
One on Ones. It would probably get old to see him keep beating really
strong people in multiple contests. His early rounds would probably be a lot more volatile, because there wouldn't be 8 diverse pictures, or user-made pics. | I know it was expected pre-contest, but I still can't believe how much worse Sonic is looking than Snake here. Especially after his supposed Brawl boost. Did that just last for one match or something? Or is this still boosted Sonic, and Snake (or L-Block?) is SFFing him? |

Dammit. Snake is benefitting way too one-sidedly from L-Block's
decreases. L-Block can't win like that. Come on Sonic and Squall get
back in the game L-Block is not winning :) With how awful sonic is during the night, L-block is still trouncing him every update. Snake is getting things under control again, but if sonic doesn't stop sucking soon, he won't have a chance at coming back. I can't even believe what I'm typing here. I think you're mistaken. L-block doesn't simply win, it gets second
place in every match. This will continue even as we go back to two way

If we want something impressive, we have
to go back to Link in 2k2, I think. Nobody expected him to bring on
that level of destruction. Does that measure up to what L's doing now? --- Rapid analysis, accurate judgment, and superb powers of concentration. That is all we need. |

Sonic is completely done. I'm hoping you're not that big a fan, because he has about a 0% chance to make it now. >_> My favourite characters generally suck it up horribly, so I've learned to not really care how well they do. Besides, I only like sonic a bit, not nearly as much as I like the idea of a tetris block beating a noble niner. Come to think of it this would be ten times more hilarious if crono didn't already lose. Also, lol @ squall making a cut. Insult to injury if I've ever seen it. --- sig |

Er, couldn't Sonic come back against Snake at least? The lead's less
than Sonic/Crono at this time last year. I know it's not too likely
considering how Snake's day vote has changed and the fewer amount of

I'd wager L's leads Snake for at least a third of the match, probably more. Before the match I estimated he'd lead for 6 hours. It'll probably be more than that, 8-14 hours sounds right. I'll say it again (well, okay, someone else said it before): the last three matches all have low early votals. They started late and/or had glitches when they did. If you're comparing votals with earlier matches (I did), use earlier matches. We're only 500 over Cloud/Marcus/Auron/Ryu, for example. |

I don't really understand the loyalty thing here. I've voted for
L-Block this whole contest and will do so until the final. That's when
I go to my true colors (aww yeah Cloud) Seriously, isn't this site really polarized in terms of Cloud or Link, as in, your soul belongs to one of these two? L should follow more or less the same pattern - pulling in 30% with the
night and 26% with the day, ending around 29% - but Snake has to start

Expect L-Block's support to dwindle next round. Seeing as he'll be facing weaker guys while probably maintaining a similar percentage, he probably won't look as impressive, but he'll still have no trouble taking care of Chief and Dante.
