Master Chief/Luigi/Dante/Leon is going to be epic. I can see virtually
any combination happening aside from Leon taking first. Though I think

No, clearly Dante/Leon LFF will not hurt Dante since Luigi/MC green LFF, and then Leon/Luigi LFF (both they're names start with L AND Leon's premiere game is on GC/Wii). I don't see whey there's so much debate for MC/Luigi/Dante/Leon. MC
gets first, Luigi probably gets second due to serious LFF between the
other two. At this point, I can understand any match being debated, and this one really shouldn't be an exception. Chief isn't looking bad, but this is a decisively less impressive performance than his last two, and that's with a Nintendo split. Next round, Luigi will not only be the lone Nintendo character, he'll also stick out like a sore thumb (in a good way, of course), while Chief has to deal with two opponents who are a lot more similar to him than anyone he's faced so far (aside from Vercetti, who we all figured was nothing but fodder by now). --- yoblazer33: NO LIMITZ Watch and you'll see... someday I'll be... part of your world! |

Honestly this "serious Dante/Leon LFF" crap needs to stop immediately.
They're not the same genre, so stop saying it, and there's no such
thing as company SFF, unless of course you're talking about big mega
companies like Nintendo or something. People don't go to the store and

Resident Evil 4 and Devil May Cry are about as close to the same genre
as you can get. The first RE4 build went on to become Devil May Cry,

If you think there won't be any LFF
between them, you're out of your mind. And considering Luigi is pretty
much as strong as Dante and Leon to begin with, it gives him an extra

RE4 is super popular because it appeared on a Nintendo platform
first(and the fact that it OWNS) but Leon isn't beating Dante tomorrow,

They're both action games with survival horror elements. RE4 focuses a
bit more on the horror, while DMC hits action a bit harder. The
controls and perspective are different, but they have a very similar

RE4 and DMC are nothing alike... why do people say this? I'm convinced
every single person who does has never played both games and just likes

I've played through both games several times. Their appeal is very
similar, so I'm guessing the same types of people will likely be fans
of both games/characters. Plus, the design and appeal of the main

I really don't consider DMC to have survival horror elements. Dante's
just too much of a badass to have any feel of horror. What, because it
has demons as enemies? Might as well say Halo has survival horror

The game play is so absurdly different this is making my head hurt... I
mean really. They're both what you would call mature games, that's
basically it. You can easily love one game and absolutely hate the
other. It's like calling for LFF between Halo and Luigi because they

DMC and RE4 do have similar styles but in gameplay they are as far
apart as can be. Style alone doesn't mean someone who loves RE4 will

now now, EC. DMC and RE are not closely related, but that doesn't mean
there can't be some minor overlap there. the characters themselves are
somewhat similar - cheesy, over the top, "mature" characters. it's no
worse than, say, Dante/Hayabusa, or Tifa/Vyse, or whatever else you can

Halo is definitely more of a SH game then DMC is...the Library alone is
creepier than any DMC game...though DMC2 creeped me out cause of how

I still don't know what LFF stands for (keep forgetting), but my gut
tells me that Chief, Dante, and Leon have a larger overlap between
themselves than Luigi, so he'll be benefiting from that. Also, I
wouldn't compare him to Ness (the other
"only Nintendo character in the poll"), since this result is clearly
proving people care about him. He certainly isn't beating chumps right

I'd also like to note that neither of them (Dante/Leon) have been
tested nearly as greatly as Luigi. Dante in particular has had a
pathetically easy path into this round, and he still hasn't managed to

Looking at this match... I think I got a little caught up in my own
Master Chief hype... I used the X-Stat calculator and put Ganondorf and
Luigi around 33%, Yuna around 29%, Master Chief at Cloud level... this
is only a slight underperformance if he hits ~34-35% (not that he'll
stay that low 38% baby!) at the end. I blame overestimating how much
Pigman would hurt Ganondorf. ... I've not lost all my resolve, here! Master Chief beats Snake and Sonic easy believe. INVINCIBLE. ... course this doubt was more Cloud and Sonic embarrassing their competition than anything... ...
