The only way Cloud gets 40% is if Samus and Mega have a large amount of
LFF. Which is possible, I won't say it's impossible. But that's tough. If you are talking about a direct CT sequel, it'd be almost impossible to make a good story based on how CT ended. Its been a while but IIRC there is no more need to go back on time traveling. He said re-release. (and I assume he was talking about CT) I've said this before - a DS release/remake would be pretty cheap and profitable. We don't need a high-budget console game here, just something. --- www.gamefaqscontests.com www.gamefaqscontests.com/gallery |

creative, every stats topic ever can still be found at thengamer.com/stats Yes, even back to #1! And regarding Star Wars and LotR, not sure how we got on the subject, but those two have a pretty epic rivalry over at imdb.com, even between characters. They only get 15-30k voters since you have to be registered, but I bet the results are still pretty close to what you'd see here. Let me see what kind of results I can pull. Star Wars/Lord of the Rings showdown, Part IV: Luke Skywalker or Frodo Baggins? Luke! 9635 (62.7%) Frodo! 3510 (22.9%) Star Wars/Lord of the Rings showdown, Part III: Yoda or Gandalf? Yoda! 8324 (50.5%) Gandalf! 5400 (32.8%) Star Wars/Lord of the Rings showdown, Part II: Count Dooku or Saruman? Saruman! 8440 (59.5%) Count Dooku! 2805 (19.8%) Star Wars/Lord of the Rings showdown: Han Solo or Aragorn? Han Solo 10863 (53.7%) Aragorn 5984 (29.6%) Try as it might, LotR just can't keep up. Limiting to Star Wars alone you have... So who's your favorite Star Wars character of all time? Han Solo 3880 (29.7%) Darth Vader 1806 (13.8%) Yoda 1472 (11.3%) Chewbaccca 768 (5.9%) Boba Fett 693 (5.3%) Obi-Wan Kenobi (older) 564 (4.3%) R2-D2 540 (4.1%) Luke Skywalker 535 (4.1%) Obi-Wan Kenobi (younger) 402 (3.1%) --- The 2007 Guru Rankings! thengamer.com/guru thengamer.com/xstats = lol x-stats |

Then I agree. SE has been porting just about all of the NES & SNES FF games, even completely remaking a game that was never released outside of Japan. Why no love for CT? Hopefully SE has bigger plans for the franchise! |

Cloud: 40% Samus: 25% MM: 21% Ryu: 14% I...agree with hochi? DOES NOT COMPUTE. Cloud has a decent shot at getting 40%. The top character's %age has been consistently higher than their stats would indicate, though not to the same degree that the least-powerful character has been consistently owned more than he should be. And no, I wouldn't be worried for Link if Cloud achieved that. He is proving himself equally capable of dominance. --- Official Queen ***** of the Universe! Political Compass: -0.38, -4.21 |

*had Mario > Seph in 2002, with Link and Snake losing in the Final Four and Crono losing to Lara Croft* okay, so now that Vincent has this wrapped up - what do you think about the upset potential of next round? with Ganon's 8-bit sprite, i wouldn't be surprised to see him take last place. Luigi was only about 3% (4100 votes) behind Ganon last round, and with that craptacular sprite and MC dominating most of the poll, i could see Luigi sneaking past Ganon. and with how close Mudkip got to both of them last round, i won't be surprised to see Yuna slide past both of them. i predict it will be: MC >>>>>>>>>>>> Yuna > Luigi > Ganon --- I support the following SC2K6 characters: L-Block, Phoenix Wright, Magus, Agent J, Vincent Valentine, Miles Edgeworth, HK-47, Zero, Kefka |

Well, Crono's done something no other Noble Niner has done, but he's
certainly not out. Between this not being the format the Noble Nine was
founded on and Vincent technically not winning the match Crono lost in,
I'm not done with the term. That said, next year I'm taking Vincent > Crono head-to-head. Although I have Link > Vincent today, I would still take Crono > Vincent a second time one-on-one...but one more year of obscurity ought to seal the deal on Crono legitimately falling enough to lose to others. He's already losing here and the more this new generation of games pick up without him, the more he's going to suffer. --- Damn, most of my dates involve mocking and/or beating up people like you and your bride-to-be, so I really have no advice --Horatio |
