I sort of want to see Seymour (FFX) in the contest. He's the one JRPG villain who ought to be decent that we haven't seen. I'm going to make a character now with all of Link's equipment, Cloud's
spiky hair, only with the silver sheen of Sephiroth's, who wears a
power suit like Samus (except the helmet of course, how else could you
see the spiky silver hair?), who absorbs the powers of defeated enemies
like Mega Man, stars in a game where his attack power is absurdly high
and he's almost the ONLY cool character a la Crono, serves as the
universal mascot for Nintendo and Sega, and has Solid Snake's voice.
Oh, and he has ALL their swords. I shall call him... Karma Hunter --- Samus 2K5 is horribly underrated, and is indirectly stronger than Mario. KHF sucks and never existed either, much like my package. |

| I still don't think Kuja is as bad as the stats
indicated. I suspect something went wrong in Ganondorf Vs. Robotnik. I
just don't see Robotnik on par with Amy Rose and a Final Fantasy

Yeah, something went wrong in Ganondorf/Robotnik, and that was Robotnik overperforming due to WW Ganon. And the FF villain you speak of is from the game whose main character is below the fodder line, and whose strongest character relies on his Black Mageiness and got SFF'd by Tidus. The problem with nonSephiroth RPG villains is either they come from
obscure RPG's that have no fan base, aren't humanoid (Lavos/Sin) and
therefore can't be related to, or appear to be more quirky than cool
(Kefka, Ansem) and hurt themselves. Any of those factors cut down on
popularity. I don't expect Seymour to be strong (I think Yuna's his absolute peak), but who else is there? |

I love seeing Fox in the single digits... his 45% in Round 1 ticked me
off! Not much else I can say... besides the fact that I finally made
the Top 50 this contest. Yay. If Vincent wins, too, I'll probably be on
the charts at least until my incorrect Ganondorf > MC in the

In FFX's defense (this makes me feel so dirty), Tidus Rikku and Yuna
are all respectable midcarders, the game itself did decently against
SSBM (give that it was pretty much Meg Ryan vs Nintendo) and Auron is
one of the strongest non-NNers. FF9 has a character that qualifies as a series mascot whose claim to fame is beating DK and got SFF'd by the guy that Squall nearly tripled. Then Zidane who is at the fodder line and Kuja who is bottom of the barrel. TuRtLe ~~~ 221/272 in the contest. Next pick: Cloud > Bowser (lol) BlAcK TuRtLe. The cream of Zero fanboyism |

| Actually, to comment again... Mario is doing very
well in relation to Sephiroth. Mario has 36% and we're a while into the
night vote now. With his incredible day vote, he might even hit
something like 38% when it's all said and done. This is with Fox's
presence, too. It looks like Sephiroth isn't strengthened in this
format (or perhaps ) and/or Mario is stronger. In fact, turn this into
a direct matchup right now and Sephiroth's expected to win with a
little over 54%. I'm not entirely sure whether to be more impressed

I think you kinda overdid it with the non VG characters in that one.
The noble nine, Master Chief, Pikachu, and Tifa... is that it? Not to
mention some of em are running up against each other really early. I'd
rather see closer to a 50-50 spread, even if there are a ton of non VG
characters we haven't seen. I mean really... 2 Family Guy characters, 2

Man, I wish more people would play Xenogears. It really needs to have a
