Could Seph and Mario be over 80% combined by the end of this? Big Boss
is going nowhere but down and I don't see how Fox is going to do

Seph should be better at night than Mario, so I don't think he's going to get 45% updates all day. that said, he'll probably see some 50% updates overnight. we'll see. Royale last year though, if I remember correctly- he gained more

Y'know yoblazer if you liked FFX you should give FFVII a shot it's not so bad, really, you might like it <.< I'd love to; the problem, of course, is finding a copy. As for Sephiroth, I'm not joking, the guy still amazes me more than any other character in the field. With Cloud, at least there are one or two heroes who can step up to the plate with him. Seph, on the other hand, is light years beyond any other villain on this site, and his two most prominent competitors (Bowser and Ganon) have each starred in several games. Hell, Bowser has been playable in at least 5x as many games as Sephiroth has ****ing starred in. I know that a majority of the voters here played through FFVII when they were very young, and it was their gateway into a new era of gaming (as Mario 64 and OoT were for me). I'm assuming that Sephiroth did some cool stuff other than the big spoiler to render himself completely unforgettable to an entire generation. | it's tough to explain Sephiroth, really.. the hype
surrounding him throughout the whole game is insane. literally, the
entire game revolves around him. in most games, it's all about the hero
saving the world or something, but FF7 is far more
hero/villain-oriented. he's probably the single biggest villain as far
as screen time goes. some villains are just there to serve as the end
boss and you can replace them with any other cardboard cutout guy and
not really skip a beat -- Sephiroth is far more. mind you, I don't really care for the guy, but he definitely has some style. throw in that he's the most popular villain from the most popular game on the site and.. yeah. --- "i go by statisticss put them all in an arena sepphroth="why arent your hair and mustache the same color?!" Yeah, it probably helps that Sephiroth 1.) comes from an RPG, and
you'll probably become vested in his destruction if you're going to
like said RPG and 2.) out of all the RPGs worth a damn on this site,
Sephiroth is the ONLY villain that's visible and cool. I mean, I'm trying to think as hard as I can... but is the next strongest RPG villain really Kefka? --- Samus 2K5 is horribly underrated, and is indirectly stronger than Mario. KHF sucks and never existed either, much like my package. |

Diablo? I meant JRPG, but Diablo's a special case anyway. Though he serves as a much better example of how to make a villain appealing. Sure he's generic, but he makes up for it with visibility and being THE DAMN DEVIL. His only weaknesses are 1.) little reason to be vested in him as anything more than a farming tool and 2.) he's from a lower tier RPG as these parts though, never mind that it's not JRPG. --- Samus 2K5 is horribly underrated, and is indirectly stronger than Mario. Sephiroth has a good night vote, and he's not gaining %age quickly

Huh, that's interesting. I guess there must be a ton of spoilers
following him around. Since all I've ever known about him were the
spoiler and the fire, I had no idea that he had more screen time than
