I thought 45% was about what should be expected; anything more would
be impressive, anything less slightly disappointing. Cloud would have
to put up a CRAZY percentage -- I'm talking 55% -- before I started to
consider Cloud > Link. I'll never count it out, but it's just false
hope. Eh, I think that's asking too much. I wouldn't even take Link to get that much on these guys, so there isn't really a need for Cloud to do it. That said, I do think he needs to get around 50% for taken pretty seriously. If he's only dropping 6% from last round with this competition, that's impressive enough to warrant some serious discussion about Cloud winning it. --- "Ha! For what it's worth, I think Ryu > Kefka and Auron >> Revolver
as far as day-votes go. Cloud may still hit 50%, but this isn't like

Cloud needs to put up something above and beyond what I'd expect to be possible before I consider him to be a serious threat to Link. Cloud beats him 54-46. Twilight Princess comes out the next year while Cloud gets nothing. there's no sign of some massive Square increase -- if anything, it's the other way around. Link did awesome all five days of the battle royale. yeah, I'm taking that to be absolute fact until Cloud knocks me out. he's yet to knock me out with a result. --- xyzzy |

Auron and Ryu that year fell to "conditioned voting." Look at Round 1. Bowser vs Chun Li and Ganondorf vs Yuna. Bowser and Ganon won in normal fashion. But when Round 2 rolled around, the voters had been "conditioned" to vote Ganon over FFX and Bowser over Street Fighter. "Conditioned voting" accounts for 7%. I don't think Cloud will really hit 50%. His day vote would have to be
ridiculous. He's gained 5% or more from this point before, but that was
against way weaker competition. Surely Ryu/Auron will slow him down a

If it wasn't for Yoshi/Samus SFF, we probably would have had the

Last round, Cloud finished with 56%, but didn't pull a single update over 56% until 3 hours into the match. In the first round Cloud got 61% but didn't pull an update over that until *4* hours into the match. | Tifa would probably be in with that pack of
highcarders. Maybe closer to Auron. Yuna is safely below them. Her 2k5
value seems legit. Kirby would probably be near the lower end of that
pack, but close enough to have a good match. Kratos would probably be
closer to Leon's level. Zelda would probably fit in with that grouping of highcarders. As for Sora, I take his match with Mega Man lightly. He was hot off of KH2, and were this a 1v1 contest, I think he'd be performing a little more reallistically. TuRtLe ~~~ 221/272 in the contest. Next pick: Cloud > Bowser (lol) BlAcK TuRtLe.
