We'll see how Cloud's percentages look at the end of the day, but if
this keeps up (and it will), I'll be willing to concede that Cloud has

Cloud's competition here is pretty tight, plus there's the
possibility that a shared fanbase with Auron will hurt both their
percentages. If he breaks 45% here I wouldn't mind calling his chances
equal to Link. If he breaks it significantly, I'd even call him the
favorite. At 45% I think he'd still be an underdog to Link, but if he break 50% he'd have to at least temporarily become the favorite over Link. I don't think he can do that, though it is possible with the huge board anti-vote, and him being at 43% already. As much as I like Cloud, I just don't think he'll ever beat Link again
barring a FFVII-2 of course or the impossibility of him being in Super

I'm crossing my fingers...let's just keep in mind Auron has KH2 on his
side and that Ryu's from Street Fighter...we WILL see some kind of
role-reversal. If Ryu keeps making gains like that, there won't be a
lead-change...but there will be a very large difference between how

50% from Cloud would be CRAZY. I took him at 45% to be very optimistic, and- *looks at update* ...ohhh dear people are going to start hyping it --- Samus 2K5 is horribly underrated, and is indirectly stronger than Mario. KHF sucks and never existed either, much like my package. |

| Points have doubled again so even scoring half
points is damaging. 4 people on the Top 50 didn't score a perfect, 4
people on the Top 50 have fallen off. RyanYeung, E_Gadd, X_and_Zero and

Very nice. Cloud nearly gained another percent there. Given the
anti-FF7 vote that tends to last toward the beginning of these matches,
he may just stand a shot at breaking 50% here. That's probably being a

| Auron being here doesn't necessarily hurt Cloud's actual percentage. If there's significant SFF between the two in favor of Cloud, it could actually help (see Link/Zelda match earlier). The LFF should still make him look worse in comparison to Ryu and Fenix though. |

| I thought 45% was about what should be expected;
anything more would be impressive, anything less slightly
disappointing. Cloud would have to put up a CRAZY percentage -- I'm
talking 55% -- before I started to consider Cloud > Link. I'll never

Link is facing 2 Square mid-carders and one high-end fodder/low-midcarder.
