And it's not like he looked so great with it last round... he gave up

Last year, if you peg Samus at 40% on Link, CATS works out to 13%. This year, using Morgoth's formula and pegging Sephiroth at 43.5% on Link, CATS works out to 13.13%. So no. Although CATS did avoid FFF, which has affected so many other people this year (including Nightmare today). --- red blue green |

Hayabusa's far from a day vote beast. Who did he actually win it against? Jill Valentine? Riku on the other hand, won it over Frog, clearly he's a dayvote beast :P I don't think anything will happen today. He gained 1% against Dante and Zero with it too. Dante maybe isn't that impressive. Zero is nothing to scoff at though. Okay maybe that's not beastly, but it's better than anything Snake has shown to do with it. --- "GUYS I JUST DRANK A MASTER CHIEF SODA, MASTER CHIEF FOR 2007!" - Swirldude |

HaRRicH Posted 10/17/2007 11:11:25 PM message detail I missed some MC discussion...and, this is redundant by now, but I'm more scared of him than anything else in my bracket. I've already got him in first place for every match up to when he faces Solid and Sonic (alongside Ganon!), but not any further...and MC's as capable as anybody to take a Noble Niner down in this bracket. Solid and Sonic are going to split SSBB-hype (and if Ganon or even Luigi makes it there, that hhurts their Nintendo support a bit more), MC's fanbase has been long speculated to be the most independent and hardcore, he's got the most recent huge game, and his match this round impressed me much more than what Sonic did last year...and I'm reserving judgment on how it compares to Solid's match today until later in the match. There's a sliver of a chance MC gets first that match. Not a chance I want to take, but I really wish I had him advancing to the championship..... You say that like Brawl hype is the only reason Sonic and Snake are popular. --- GameFAQs isn't going to be merged in with GameSpot or any other site. Kratos made similar cuts at this time yesterday, stopping a the end of this hour. He cut 272 votes, and Riku seems to be going a tad faster. okay... this match *should* be Riku's. I have utterly no idea why,
but hey, whatever. Hayabusa's got that during-school vote to try and
pad his lead, but I don't think he's going to make it big enough. Riku
cut 300 votes in the before-school period. the day vote probably gives
him another 1500 or so. my first thought is that Kratos has a better chance in round 3 because Kratos and Ryu will have a closer fanbase split. Riku may be on the PS2, but that doesn't mean he's similar to Kratos. Ryu, Dante and Kratos are all from the same type of game. it's like Mario and Sonic in a match together. --- xyzzy |
