As much as I love Kratos (and I do, even though DK > him), I'm
hoping L-Block advances with Snake next round, just because my bracket

L-Block looks like even more of a favorite now. Kratos is going to get

Good god Snake. Wow. Imagine him after Brawl has a high playrate at this site. I don't think I'd take Mario over him then. Nintendo SFF might be the only reason I don't take him over Mario already. The day vote in this match probably won't do much, all these guys are good day vote guys. Snake might be the only guy that drops, and that shouldn't be by much. MegatokyoEd I KNEW Riku would somehow come out and beat Ryu H this round. This contest is wacky like that. Though Hayabusa is still very likely to win this, I know what you mean as I had the same feeling. I think multiple others suspected a close one here. I didn't think Riku would do it, but I thought he'd be close, and I wouldn't have been shocked if he won. I certainly disagreed with the people who thought Hayabusa was a lock here, though he did deserve to be a hefty favorite. I figured Riku'd get 80%-90% of Roxas' votes (no way at all that there overlap was less than Cloud/Sephiroth's), and also more of Haseo's than Hayabusa. Also Ryu could get BadasSFFed here. That gave Riku a shot here. Riku's main problem here is that he might collapse with the overnight vote. The overnight vote I think has usually been the pivotal vote this contest, because that's when the %age swings the most. And Kingdom Hearts is probably bad at that. Really. The KH day vote is beastly but I actually take the X-Box day
vote if I have to choose. Riku better hang tough now if he wants a good

Hmmm, Ryu seems to be having trouble taking off. No matter who wins
between the two, I can't complain. Riku wins, there's 4 points for my
bracket. Ryu wins, that means the badass ninja beat out the little

I figured Riku would drop overnight, but it looks like Hayabusa might too. If so this match could be great. Riku should still go real good with the ASV, but Snake's presence might alter Ryu's trends a bit maybe. I'm not liking how close Hayabusa and Riku are right now. I've got
Hayabusa and I know he beat Riku+Roxas combined while remembering
Solid/Sora two years ago...but this isn't awe-inspiring. Hopefully he

I'm expecting Riku's ASV to be better than Ryu H. I don't think we can
expect any massive comebacks, as his ASV obviously won't be bad, but
I'd be willing to go as high as a 1,000 vote lead still being in the

Well, in the last match, the peak difference between the two was at
4:00 AM. Riku gained about .7% from that point and Ryu lost about
.4%...so it's not as if the day vote will change things all that much,
but Ryu still doesn't have long to build his lead. --- Rapid analysis, accurate judgment, and superb powers of concentration. That is all we need. |

These are late, I know, but I'm responding to them anyway. And it looks like Nightmare is a dud after all. This format can make anyone look like a dud. You could call Samus a dud based on her score in the battle royal last year. True, she got SFFed, but we don't know for sure what fanbases (if any) Nightmare shares with these folks. If he falls under 10%, then we can talk about duds. L-Block needs massive PS2 SFF to advance another round.... go Riku auuugh Looks like Snake is hurting Ryu more than Riku, so far. And in general, the better Snake does, the better it looks for L-Block advancing. ...the worse it looks for the L-Block > Snake upset, though. |

The fact that Nightmare's percentage has dropped so much compared to
Snake this round proves that Nightmare is merely underperforming this
