And just as Ammy looked like she was willing to give up her lead, she builds it back up to 40. It's funny how if one of the people isn't attempting to make an epic comeback a close match suddenly becomes boring, even if the lead never extends past 80, or whatever it was.

Woah! Awesome match, but am I the only one who thinks that either Ada or Amaterasu is cheating. It just seems weird to look at those poll updates and see Ada go up, and then Amaterasu come back over and over again.

I don't think there's cheating (though I haven't really looked at it closely), it just makes sense that if characters are going to be this close to each other, they're going to be switching 10 vote gains and losses thanks to random variance.

Balthier's been stalling for some time. He isn't going to win (these three were too stable in their previous matches for him to go on a tear), but he might end up looking decent at the end of this.

Well, as decent as you can get in a poll losing to Amaterasu and Ada Wong.

If Balthier had any decent competition this round, there's no way I would have taken him to advance. I always felt as though I thought less of Balthier than most of the people here.... I just thought he could beat Ada and a wolf.

Wow, this match has been quite the barnburner. I don't if this has been asked yet (just woke up) but how much did Okami sell? I'm amazed Ammy's been going stride for stride with a RE4 character.

Who has the better ASV, Ammy or Ada?
Being from RE, Ada's ASV should be pretty bad, but Okami is a cult game, so Ammy's ASV shouldn't be too good either.

Winning the during school vote isn't a good sign that you'll win the after school vote, but Ada isn't going to take it either.

So um...no clue really. I'd feel pretty safe at 500 honestly, because I'm not seeing any huge shifts between the two.

What in the world was up with Yuna's prediction % last round? I mean that's just ridiculous. How could it possibly have been that low? She was the obvious choice, who else were they picking?

10% had her beating Chief in round 1, only 21% even had her placing in round 2!?

Star Wars would be like the FF7 of the contest. Han Solo, Luke, Yoda, Darth Maul, maybe Boba Fett would all be among the most powerful characters, but most wouldn't make it via nominations.

The effect of LFF is overrated for the most part.

Seems to be fairly substantial actually. Definitely the one factor that keeps owning Oracle picks above all others.

Actually he did gain quite a bit, though not as much as expected. Also, there was that weird Shadow drop-off-the-earth. If it really was because of Bowser like some think, well, maybe Bowser got jobbed twice. I'm not sure about that one though.

I wouldn't be surprised if Yuna actually got fourth place next round, despite Luigi and Ganondorf being together.

Neither would I. Anything could happen there.

There's certainly hope for Ada fans. If either manages any sort of real advantage with the ASV, they should have it.

Right now though I don't think any such advantage would be very much.

They're beginning to hover around the same area, as they were before. Only now, Ammy has a significant lead whereas before it was much lower. How many lead changes has it been, btw?

Ammy and Ada are both very likeable. I think most people are gone beyond the stage of caring about results based on their brackets.
