Round 2- Division 6 Semifinal A Previous Matches: http://www.gamefaqs.com/poll/index.html?poll=2883 http://www.gamefaqs.com/poll/index.html?poll=2884 Characters Involved: Dante Last round Dante impressed us all by blowing out 3 pieces of crap. This round, Dante hopes to impress by again beating out 3 pieces of crap. Amataseraseru The least crappy of the 3 pieces of crap, Amataseru rode Nintendo Boxer SFF between Matt and Mac to what looked like a respectable performance. Expect her to not break 15% today. Ada Wong One of the big surprises last round, Ada took advantage of Balthier being an overrated turd by winning her match quite handily. Will she hold up against fellow Capcom character Dante? Balthier A Han Solo clone in a Final Fantasy game? How is this guy not knocking at the Noble Nine's door? Predictions: Poor Dante. He was given easily the weakest division in the entire bracket, and looks to take full advantage of that by having another chance to break 40% today. The way I look at it, Ada/Balthier/Ammy are comparable to Zero's fourpack, and Dante is about where I'd place Zero, so we should have a similar result. As for second, you could make valid arguments for all 3 characters, but I think we can rule out Ammy. Last round, Ada beat Balthier pretty comfortably, so she would have to be really crippled by Dante for him to advance. And I hope Balthier does advance, because Ada going to round 3 could really screw things up and wind up with Pikachu going to round 4 or something. TuRtLe's Prediction: Dante 39%, Ada 23%, Balthier 22%, Amastaseru 16% TuRtLe's Bracket: Dante > Balthier TuRtLe's Vote: Balthier TuRtLe ~~~ 157/200 in the contest. Hochi, as esteemed guru as you are, how do you propose Gordon beats Sub-Zero Half Life 2 was able to transform Gordon from fodder to a respectable low-end midcarder. would be great for Ada to go down, I don't need her double crossing
Leon (again?) But at this point I wouldn't be totally shocked if

Ada barely beat Balthier before and that's only because she's iconic.
Her match with Samus proves she has no fans so Dante being here takes
away Ada's casual support and the result is Balthier being a lock for

Orange Box isn't anywhere near Half-Life 2. Gordon getting Half-Life 2
is like Crono getting Chrono Trigger 2. Going all that time off of a
single game was definitely hurting him. Half-Life 2 sure as hell ain't

Yeah, Ada was most certainly the most well known person in that poll. I
can see her losing to Balthier if her score in that match was inflated
due to getting the "Who the **** is everyone else?" vote. Something she
