Anyway I'm pretty sure Lopen is master of Chief. He is right, although the bandwagon will still accept anyone who wants to hop on it! Harrich also brings up some interesting points. Oh, and Harrich, buy the way Sub-Zero performed on Sonic last round I'd
expect he would still be able to put up at least 40-42 on this H3

Oh, no doubt Sub-Zero would still do well in a match against MC. Just
saying that MC's probably going to finish first with 44% today, give or
take, with Yuna/Alucard/Liquid. That'd be more than 4% better than what
Sonic did with Subby/PoP/VJ, and Sub-Zero got second in that match with
nearly 33%. I wouldn't take Sub-Zero > MC head-to-head again today, and in no way am I taking Subby over MC in this format unless the other two characters were like Marcus Fenix and Ryu Hayabusa. --- PETITION: a "Contest Suggestions" board. Where he is now is really quite
impressive. I had MC with 42% this round, and I don't think anyone else

You guys worry to much, it's true that MC has a loyal fanbase, but most
of them are casual voters. I doubt that 40% on GameFAQS thinks that
HALO is a better game than Final Fantasy X or Metal Gear Solid, and
Castlevania SOTN wouldn't do that bad against it. Once MC is up against
other popular characters like Ganondorf, Dante and Leon, he won't
dominate but will most likely win this division. Once Luigi is out of

pretty awesome show by the Chief here. I'd say the Semis are a damn
lock for him, and the finals are a damn good looking pick. getting

| Also, just as a thought, perhaps MC is brought
back down to earth a bit next round (and maybe Yuna even improves).
He's been facing characters that have mostly made their name on PS1/2.
Yuna will still be around, but now you'll have Luigi and Ganondorf
instead of Alucard, Liquid, Vercetti, or PaRappa. Granted, there may be
some LFF too (which could again help Yuna improve), but there'll be
more diversity in MC's next match than his first two yet...so it could

I think his fanbase is a bit too casual to be NN-breaker material. We
are seeing him at the height of his power, and he's trashing midcarders
around like he's a supervillain in an office building, but have a hunch
his support isn't very steadfast and with bigger names next round, he
might be in for trouble. If he doesn't put up impressive numbers on

The greatest sequence of events in contest history: 1. Master Chief destroys the next two rounds, becoming the overwhelming favorite against Sonic. 2. Master Chief handily defeats Sonic and gives Snake a run for his money, shocking everyone. 3. Master Chief outdoes all expectations in the finals, beating Solid Snake. 4.
