Ah... and, so much for Mudkip > Luigi. Ehh? Mudkip pretty much won the day-vote over Luigi. Unlike every other joke, he didn't die in the day. Mudkip getting second is still a real possibility. --- Demyx is better than Axel. |

Okay, what. I don't know what I read just now, but anyone calling for Link's head based on what he's doing now is grasping. Nothing would be better to me than to see Cloud beat Link, but this isn't a performance where you say "HAY LOOK AT LINK STRUGGLING LOL UPSET COMIN'." Link's doing fine right now, with the rest of the day to look forward to, and considering he's putting up nearly 50% with a noble nine quality opponent, there's no reason to be trying to downplay this. That said, Cloud should still keep up his impressive run, and I expect him to be very competitive in the final regardless of whether he wins or loses. If he's gotten back up to Link's level, we'll see it in one of these later performances. There will always be that one that blows your mind and lets you know what might be going down later on -- what's up Sonic in 03! -- but for right now, it's Link doing what he does and Cloud looking better than usual. Can't say anything right now. --- let's mosey |

Bidoof's got to level off at some point soon; there aren't many more
votes they can grab from him. Vincent looks terrible, wtf? If this is
the best he can do against Link with SFF on his side, pfft. Just makes
Zelda last round look worse - I wouldn't count this round against her,

Well, it seems to me Bidoof's legit number is somewhere around 11%, so

With the Bidoof Madness all but dead, let me bring up a question. Besides HM, does anyone else believe my Master Chief to the Final 4 pick has any chance? | I think it's certainly possible, but unlike most other people, I still think there's that polar opposite possibility of Chief falling on his ass. The biggest "legends" the guy has ever faced are Crono, Sub-Zero, and Donkey Kong. That's a very far cry from Snake and Sonic in the same poll, and even though this format undoubtedly works in his favor, I still feel he could fold against competition of such caliber. I'm not saying that he will; I'm just saying that his range is massive. |

That is a tough one. Snake has obviously gotten a boost from SSBB but
he also is getting one from the immense MGS4 hype so how do we judge

I don't know, with an icon like Sonic it's always a question of "What
have you done for me lately?" His support's not going to go away
overnight, but it probably needs to be refreshed every now and then for
him to keep ahead of more polarizing characters like Master Chief. The
fact that everybody already knows Sonic is what makes the Brawl
announcement meaningful; people don't need to be coming here for a FAQ

Halo 3 is GoTY without question or fail. Sure it didn't live up to
expectations, but honestly, NOTHING could. But look at it from an
unbiased perspective, no game has ever been as hyped as Halo 3. It sold

| GotY depends. If the first poll is something like
Halo 3 vs Bioshock vs Galaxy vs Corruption vs Phantom Hourglass vs God
of War II vs PS3 game vs (vs PSP game?) vs Guitar Hero III, probably
Halo 3. But if that gets whittled down to something like Halo 3 vs
Galaxy vs God of War II vs Guitar Hero III for the second poll, I'd go

Halo 2 also set such records and events, and it still lost to GTA:SA pretty handily back in 2k4. Halo 3 is even bigger though and there's a bigger 360 base here BEFORE Halo 3 than there ever was for the Xbox though, and just because it's Mario doesn't mean it's going to be on the level of GTA:SA...I want to see those two battle. --- PETITION: a "Contest Suggestions" board. How is this considered doing bad when Link, as anyone with a brain
knew, was going to get near 50%. I mean come on, Vincent is no failure

oh yeah, no more Brawl. though I goddamn guarantee that if you put it in a poll it would STILL win despite not being out. I'll say it again, since it seems to be ignored every time "stuffing" is mentioned. Proxies wouldn't work on the poll, because IIRC, the site uses MAC addresses to prevent cheating. 4chan may have legitimately rallied a few hundred votes, but nothing more than that. Not to mention after the first hour, the match was on pace to nearly
